c'mon, NJ, it's been a brilliant hoax but you can take those cushions out now...

(fingers crossed for this evening, some time after the X-Factor result. maybe the baby is just waiting to see if the McDonald Brothers go out?)

any more suggestions would be great!!

Quootiepie · 03/12/2006 01:37

birth ball?
skipping?
Orgasm?

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 01:38

Yes, I'll just pop down to the local farm and hop aboard shall I?!! LOL

We live in Accrington (it is near Blackburn) we have DH's mum in Bolton (about 40-ish mins drive away) but, well she wasn't exactly forth coming with offers of help when the contractions first started and they wanted me in hospital, in fact when we asked her to watch DS she said no!

If I do go into at labour at home, but something went wrong and we had to go to hospital in an emergency our next door neighbours would have him, but he doesn't really know them that well, they are out a lot of the time, they are an older retired couple who go away for short breaks most of the time, so there is no saying they would be here anyway. Although I know he would be safe with them, I also know he would hate it, so it isn't exactly a great comfort to me IYSWIM?

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 01:40

LOL Sara

I'm on the birth ball from morning till night, even at the computer, I don't think I could physically skip anywhere at the moment, and orgasms are great, but they don't work!!

saralou100 · 03/12/2006 01:41

i'm trying a friends trampoline tomorrow..

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 01:43

PMSL, Is it one of those really big ones? How on earth will you get on it? I have trouble getting on and off the bed!! LOL

Quootiepie · 03/12/2006 01:43

dilemma NJ...

Have you tried accupucture? (sp??)

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 01:45

If I were I would walk around all day tweeking my nipples. More for pleasure than anything else.
Can you see a pregnant woman walking around rubbing her nipples all day. HA HA

saralou100 · 03/12/2006 01:45

it's huge, you can see it from the road when you drive past!! i hadn't thought about actually getting on it....

saralou100 · 03/12/2006 01:47

a crane perhaps.. wonder how much it is to hire one of them?

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 01:47

I haven't tried accupuncture(sp? also!) LOL I wouldn't even know where to start looking for the right place to go, or whatever.

LOL Sara, do you want to borrow my crane I am going to need to get in and out of the birth pool?

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 01:48

Play upbeat music. The day I was told I was going to be induced and to return in the evening, I got in the car and blasted Christina Aguilera's song "Dirty", now ds almost never moved around that I could feel. But when that song came on he was having a blast in my tummy. I think it got him excited to come out.

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 01:48

LOL Great minds....

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 01:51

MKG Isn't it funny what they respond to? With this one it has been Eminem all the way through, if I put one of his CD's on or if he comes on the radio/music channel, the baby goes mad, I have actually stood with the remote and muted it and he stops moving, as soon as I turn it back up, he goes mad again.

My nephew went mad for INXS, my sister used it after he born to stop him crying LOL

saralou100 · 03/12/2006 01:54

where's my christina aguilera cd.........

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 01:57

Right now ds is going through a Madonna phase, he loves the new CD. I think he just loves pop. I'll be interested in what this one will like.

When I was in the hospital with ds I couldn't think of any lullabies so I started singing Dirty to him, and any other song I could think of.

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 02:01

My DS (the 4 year old, not the unborn one!) is completely obsessed with Girls Aloud, I don't know if they are known in America, but we have to put up with it for most of the day, if he isn't listening to them on his CD player, he is flicking through the musci channels to find 'his girlfriends....'!! LOL

saralou100 · 03/12/2006 02:03

how cute.. ds dances to anything but always stares at girls aloud!! he is only 21 months though.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 02:05

I've never heard of Girls alound.

Ds is 16 months and I'll never understand why the like things. Hiccups make him laugh hysterically.

saralou100 · 03/12/2006 02:07

sneezing is most amusing in our house

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 02:09

Oh no sneezes scare the crap out of ds.

NativityJane · 03/12/2006 02:10

Hiccups make all kids laugh hysterically, don't they?!!! Girls Allowed, they won one of the reality TV song contest things (or came second or something) typical English girl band really, DS likes their boobs, but I think he just picked that bit up from DH!! LOL

I have developements, not that that means much, but got that feeling back like when you are just about to get your period, and my legs have gone all shaky.....

Shall I dare start a part three?!!! LOL

saralou100 · 03/12/2006 02:11

pmsl, kids are weird!

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 02:11

I gotta go to sleep soon, this baby is wearing me out. I'll talk to you tomorrow.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 03/12/2006 02:12

I'll stay up if this is the real thing.

Keep up that nipple stimulation.
