I think swing is definitely his thing though, it is the only sort of music he is any good at singing/warbling out on stage. Maybe he was just trying to be "cool" in the interview, bearing in mind it was before the likes of Norah Jones and the rest of them that have followed in recent years?

Yes I have put myself through 7 weeks of contractions and nearly sleepless nights just until Cod noticed me

MKG, it is called INDUCTION. I am honestly 100% convinced that is the only thing to shift him now, and since I have been sure of that I've had hardly any contractions, lost loads of my show yesterday but that was about it!

Have you tried

1. Really spicy food--Go eat a few jalapeños
2. Kissing, hugging, fondling, gentle finger or oral nipple or clitoral stimulation.
3. Sex-we know you tried that one.
4. Visualization-As you are stimulating your self visualize your cervix opening
5. Evening Primrose oil (1500 mg, I think)
6. Cleansing the bowel--get out the castor oil

Personally I would do the stimulaion, just because it's the most fun.

Sara I have made a real impresion!! How far over are you now? You'd think with only a few of us left I'd remember everyones dates but I can barely remember my own sometimes!!

MKG, I am doing nothing that works by 'claering me out' so that is spicy food, pineapple, castor oil all out of the window. I am aiming for a home waterbirth, I don't think the midwife would be very grateful if the effects were still effective during labour IYSWIM?!!! I've done the stimulation of everything everywhere, we've done the sex, walking, scrubbing, lavender oil, clary sage oil, RLT, even got DH massaging those points on my feet that are supposed to help (just under the big toe and behind my ankle) but still nothing. And you are right I don't want to be induced, I don't want to have to go to hospital, and I don't want to have to worry about what we do with DS while all of that is going on, but I honestly don't think we are going to have any choice. It is like I said, if 7 weeks of almost constant contractions hasn't shifted him, then another week and a half isn't going to make much difference.

QP I was induced with my first so I know what to expect, the actual induction process itself isn't the end of the world for me, it is the hospital stay and what to do with DS that will cause the problems.

9 days late now (as it's silly o'clock)and i'm not rying castor oil either! all other methods tried and tested... they don't work!!
