squatting in pregnancy

be gentle..go slowly and use DH for support.......

lulumama · 16/11/2006 20:03

TBH...at this stage..the baby is down in the pelvis..so i would concentrate on getting labour going with the nipple stim, aromatherapy reflexology route..esp if not done much squatting / excercising in pregnancy..!!

lisalewis · 16/11/2006 20:07

ok am going to have a curry as well .
not sure if this really works but i love curry so it wont make much difference.
might even try rubbing the curry into nipples
u never know am getting desperate hahahahahahaha

good bit of floor scrubbing will get little one out!! make some nice plans for next week..so if baby still not made an appearance, you have something to look forward to

a pedicure, a manicure, have your hair done....

Just wanted to say good luck. Am going through the same, have had about a week of pre labour contractions that aren't going anywhere at the mo. I am hoping I will go into labour soon. It happenned to me last time, and when I did go into labour, I had a very short one. Fingers crossed this one is the same eh?

jacobliam · 17/11/2006 14:33

hi, i went through exactly the same with ds2. after a week of slow moving pre labour i was fed up of going to hospital etc so called midwife and said i wanted a home birth, she came that afternoon. and before you know it my little baby was in my arms. im sure its becausei relaxed and stopped worrying. baby will coe soon enough, and look how far youve got without pain relief!!!!

goodluck

Bet she's gone and had that baby, is relaxing at home and not thinking one jot about us and our nibbled fingernails.
