How small can a show be?

An hour or so ago I went to the loo and found a tiny little pale green lump, like a bit of snot. However, it seems as though a show normally tends to be much bigger than this. But what else could it be? It was perhaps 1 or 2cm in size. Do you think that the bigger the show, the nearer the onset of labour might be?
I keep running to the loo to check if there's any more, but nothing! Starting to think I imagined it! I am 40 weeks + 1. Any advice really appreciated!

thank you blob2be...

great idea to do non- baby related things!

things are moving ...just a bit slower than you would like!! everyone dashes up to the hospital, thinking this is it! when it isn't...don't worry....!

walking is definitely good....don;t knacker yourself out

sit on the gym ball and keep going with the visualisations

you've been told your cervix is closed...imagine it opening instead of thinking of it as closed.....always, always concentrate on the positive....

yes, discharge does increase towards the end of pregnancy... you are only 3 days over anyway...

and an estimated due date - is ESTIMATED!

Any news Blob2be?

lulumama · 22/10/2006 22:35

no news Nataliejane.....other thread from Blob2be on friday night saying waters had gone ..so hopefully she is busy with the baby!!!!

did you get the answer to your question earlier??

NatalieJane · 22/10/2006 22:42

Ah, I missed the waters breaking one! Baby news coming left right and centre at the moment!

Do you mean the sex question? If, so yes thank you, got another one on that thread though! LOL I am amazing myself, a couple of weeks ago I would have been blushing all over the place at such a question, but after the events of the last couple of weeks, sex doesn't seem quite so taboo!

lulumama · 22/10/2006 22:53

i do

it's easier to ask about more personal matters when you are looking at a computer screen rather than a person! hope you don;t have too bad night!

Hopefully once the baby stops hiccuping, the contractions will die down a bit.
