looking for something that will be comfortable and nice to wear after the birth so wanted to see if others had any great ideas. The last time I had a 2pk from mothercare which were fine but I fancy something a bit more feminine if possible this time.

I just got a strappy nighty so that bf was easy. And going to the loo. But I think I had a big tshirt and comfy soft pj like trousers with me too. Id bring both if I were you.

I just got a nice grandma cotton nightie with buttons in the front - But I had c-sections and needed to have catheter in. Figured practical rather than nice was the way to go.

I did however - day 2 post surgery wear clothes during the day and just put nightie on for night then - made me feel a little more human.

m and s have some strappy but practical cotton nighties and pjs' like this or mix and match tops/bottoms. Take some stretchy comfy day clothes in too though.

pjs / strappy vest and soft shorts but it was boiling on the wrd and i was in for over a week. wore pjs despite my catheter!!

Shortish nighty for the catheter reason. Also remember hospitals are really hot so any man made fibres might make you sweaty - nice excuse to buy silk!
