I am 37+4, Monday morn was woken by quite severe contractions which wore off after a couple of hours, Monday evening i had a big show come away, Tues had niggily pains all day and a little bit more of show went to labour ward to be told head is VERY low but cervix not doing anything, Weds another little bit of a show....

and now was woken up at 2.45am with bad pains again and been shivery (chin going) and having contractions every 5 mins lasting around a min...still going on now.

What the hell is going on here lol, panicking as i am booked for elective section next Friday and really don't need to be going into labour and not have time to get asection, live around 20mins away from hospital, and would need my parents to look after dd, they live 15 mins away...GRRR!

No probs all sorted and on the way. I'm guessing that's she either on the way to the labour ward or lying in the bath. Either way I'll be checking with interest tomorrow to see what's happened. Off to make hot toddy so signing off for tonight. Hope your day is not too taxing. Ds2 almost asleep so there's hope I might get some sleep tonight. Take care redbull and let's chat again soon.

Well i am still here lol,had a bit more "show" this morning, the pains did wear off but still have niggily cramps and BH's in between.

This is getting ridiculous now what the hell is going on!?!?

Have got MW appointment this afternoon but what can i say...feel like i am making the whole thing up (i am not honest! lol)

Could all this mean i am in very slow labour? Sorry to be a pain and keep going on, but just don't know what to think or what to do.

Oh serious sympathy, I had contractions on and off for 10 days with dd1, it was so frustrating! Just kinda sat about waiting for something 2 happen. I felt like I was making it up as well and gp kept saying oh u won't make ur next appointment. He said this 3 times!! No help sorry!

This just sounds like your body is getting itself ready for labour, you could be doing this for weeks or go into proper labour tomorrow, really difficult to judge. If you werent having an elective section you could just go with it or maybe they will bring it forward for you. Sorry not much help, just sympathies and hugs.
