So frightened and emotional

39+2 and its happening, felt periody and crampy past few days, then past few hours had pains, tightenings, take my breath away nerve pains in my bum. I'm struggling. Just bringing it all back from horrific birth with DD, in bed crying and feel very scared. Having my DD was the best thing I ever did but god it hurts like mad doesn't it, I honesty thought I was dying last time. I'm so sad I'm gonna have to go through it all again.

That means your cervix is in the posterior position, it has to move forward, soften, open and thin before you are ready to give birth. This can happen quite quickly for some people especially if it is not your first labour. Good explanation here.

4-5cms off to delivery suite, please pray that I can have some proper pain relief.

I have a bouncing baby boy!

Mobile epidural, still hurt but tool the edge off, I had an angel of a midwife who listened and cared about my wishes. I feel so blessed to have had such a good labour and experience :) xxx
