Afterpains after 2nd birth. how bad did you find them?

I'm also planning on breastfeeding again. I had minimal
Pains with dd.. But heard they are worse 2nd time round.

Mine were much worse 2nd time around. As strong as contractions sometimes. Stock up on cocodamol. Think they lasted about 3 days.

I will be stockpiling cocodamol this time around too!

I had worse after pains with dd1. I barely noticed them with dd2. And I had no breastfeeding pain with dd2.

Doesn't sound like its the norm but it is possible.

Terrible afterpains with DS1 - so much so that DP called the hospital in the middle of the night. I had DS2 8 weeks ago and haven't had any afterpains at all (EBF both of them).
