May I ask how long after giving birth did you resume having sex?

And how was it? Did you feel "in shape" down there? I'm 8 weeks postpartum and my bits still look like offal! Kegeling all day but not having much effect that I can tell. Anyone divulging any experiences very much appreciated!

beginners my DH was scared beyond belief and he'd never been down the birth end at all (his friend whose wife gave birth two weeks before strongly advised him against it!). We worked it out together, but it took months not weeks.....

It was 18 weeks for us. Which felt like forever at the time. I just had no interest in it at all and DH isn't the kind of man to push - even when its appropriate and might lead to something nice!
