oh absolutely PMSL with tears and convulsive hooting at this thread! I don't know what that says about me but some of the posts on here! GrinGrin well, i guess we'll see if I still find it so funny if i get my VBAC!
Had no idea about piles and prolapsed rectums though Shock - something else to add to the worry list...

Awww the midwife who came on midway through my labour and very kindly got my my epi immediately Smile was lovely. She told DH to go and get himself a coffee for a moment once the pain relief had kicked in, and asked if she could help me to the toilet to 'have a little empty'. I was so grateful and said 'i was worried I'd do a poo pushing and I'd be embarrassed in front of DH' (I know that's petty but I blame pregnancy hormones) and she said 'i know you are'. Awww, so thoughtful! I didn't poo during and I felt like my dignity had been respected by her.
