Hi ladies,

Is anyone else experiencing a really long wait for DLA? Our form was scanned 8/5/2024 and I was told 15 weeks at that point. I've now been told 20 weeks. Is this normal?

After being told last week it was being looked at by a dm then this week told it wasn't they need to do there job properly and stop confusing people

Same here- application accepted end of April and got decision yesterday for high rate with it all backdated so hope you hear soon xx

I rang up and they said 25 weeks for me, I got the forms on the 1st August last year and the deadline to send then back was the 13th September however I sent them on the 13th and they received them on the 17th as I was waiting for all the evidence to back up the claim. When I spoke to DWP they said because they didn't receive it on time (4 days) I might not get it backdated to the 1st August and it's totally dependent on the assessor. What do you think x
