I purchased a Nuna Rebl last year for my Son and became aware of the post on Nuna's Facebook page earlier today. Fortunately my retail has confirmed they are prepared to offer a refund or exchange if I wish but want to other families who have purchased this carseat know what has happened...

We exchanged at Mothercare without any problem this morning as well and also got a partial refund as well as a new seat fitted.

Mothercare, crown point Leeds have just give me a full refund after a frank discussion on the phone.

Unfortunately nothing else suitable for us is in stock.

Besafe iZi have passed the Swedish safety tests. Found this useful:

Managed to return at mothercare purely way and ended up getting the besafe Izi modular from Baby's Nest - the only local besafe stockist we could find. They're a small retailer and they're gonna take a big financial hit as Nuna will only provide credits for future stock not refunds. I know I'll be thinking twice before buying the Nuna/Joie brand again.

Have to say I'm impressed with the Besafe iZi X2. DH even commented, when he was changing the seats over, that he thinks it feels sturdier and better built than the Nuna. Could well just be an opinion coloured by Nuna's awful handling of the whole debacle though! Got a refund from Mothercare without the need for a Nuna reference number so that's sorted.
I didn't realise Nuna weren't going to refund retailers fully Jellybean, that is utterly disgusting, just when I thought my opinion of that company couldn't get any lower!

Managed to fully refund Nuna Rebl in Mothercare today and got another car seat fitted (eventually...!) store credit given, but that will easily get spent and no need for Nuna reference either.
Hope everyone else that wants to gets it sorted soon.

We swapped our Nuna for an Axkid Minikid earlier today. Had a look at the BeSafe izi Plus but it wasn't a good fit for my car.

I managed to get a cybex sirona m at mamas & papas for click and collect on Monday. Will have to use the GPs belted seat for the morning nursery run Monday morning.

Just in case anyone is interested, Nuna have responded saying that their new Nuna Rebl Plus, due to be released in January, will have passed the ADAC test for all weight categories. They are offering an exchange to all customers come January (so if your independent retailer won't refund as Nuna are only refunding wholesale price, this is an option)

This may be useful to you if your child is leas than 15kg (and will be till January) because the Nuna Rebl passed the ADAC at this weight and below so should still be safe until you can exchange in Jan)

Marmite I would love to hear what you think of it when you have got it as that's one I have been looking at today.

We have the be safe izi combi x4, it's excellent and has an extending arm so that you can adjust distance from back seat for taller children. It's great quality, puts the maxi cosi seats we had for older DS to shame. I also tried the two way pearl but sent it straight back as it seemed so less sturdy in comparison.

No swivel, but honestly I've never even thought about that let alone wished it had it.

Can someone please link the full ADAC report? A couple of pp have said it's fine up to 2yo, my German is fairly limited but even so I can't find anything that I would describe as a comprehensive test result.

There's no info in the published report about what weight it's good for - but it seems that it failed rear facing with the 15kg dummy.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it would be safe with a smaller child, though.

You can check all results here. It's a bit confusing - but scroll down to where you can choose manufacturer (Hersteller Auswahlen). Or just look at the table which is arranged by weight category. Be aware some companies use different names in Germany (off the top of my head, Britax is Römer, and Mamas & Papas is Peg Perego).

www.adac.de/infotestrat/tests/kindersicherung/kindersitz-test/default.aspx

There's also a tab which explains the process of the test.

If you don't see the model you want, try looking back to the 2010-2014 tab instead. They separate them out because they only started testing for environmental factors in 2015 so the results aren't compatible.

Thanks Bertie - I didn't think there was definitive evidence of it being fine for 13kg but no good for 15kg or whatever.

Mrs - at 2.5yo I would turn her forwards.

What's shocking is that Recap have responded by recalling heir seat that failed. The Optia. Nina have done nothing of the sort.

Mrs what an awful position to be in. I would go forward facing too if I were you and just drive really carefully (I know you drive carefully all the time anyway, I mean just being more mindful given the situation iyswim?)
Unfortunately I know a few people who bought from independent stores that are struggling to get a refund at the moment. I hope you have better luck.

Thanks for the advice ladies. I asked for my post to be removed as realised it was quite identifying.

Chickpea I've been in to pramworld today and they were offering exchanges firstly and if nothing suitable then a refund? What did they say? The shop was full of people bringing rebls back!
