How do you make your tent cosy?

So - main holidays this year are going to be camping - 3 separate trips.

We're seasoned campers, but in more recent years we've mostly camped at festivals ie never in the tent.

What can I do to make the tent cosy and lovely to be in? Prepared to invest in either infrastructure or fripperies!

@PlanDeRaccordement
Thanks, that’s really helpful. 3 days worth of food is realistic for us too as we will just be doing long weekend trips for now. I’ll get purchasing! The Coleman’s model does look best.

Yes, I’m happy with Coleman. We have tents by them too. They’re a US brand and very high quality.

@BrieAndChilli tealights in bells are perfectly safe - they are hung like a chandelier, made for the purpose specifically and can’t be knocked over as they are so high. No less safe than the wood burning stove we have roaring in it. Pretty pictures here: belltent.co.uk/products/multi-coloured-glass-tea-light-chandelier

Nothing cosier than our bell tent. No rustly nylon either.

Coleman xtreme owner also. We get 3 days use with single freezer packs so no refreezing. The trick I find is to freeze absolutely everything feasible that goes in. Pints of milk. Bacon. Even grated cheese. Just freeze and defrost while there. Frozen milk has been known to still be frozen on day 3! Limit people opening the lid (we have a basic cool bag I use for drinks and the milk which is in use that day) to prevent people excessively opening the box. If you do open the box open it with purpose and get out what you need very quickly and shut it again. Make sure the lid is down right.

A cool bag drinks trick is to buy a box of white/rose wine, take the bag out of the box, freeze it, put that and your very cold beers/soft drinks in a cool bag with the frozen wine and that keeps really cold for at least 2 nights.
