Okay we have the \link{http://www.wildday.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=2168\tent}, we haven't put it up yet but assuming that that's no problem I need stuff to put in it. We have nothing. But! We have booked a campsite for 5 days in June.
So where to start? Any tips, ideas? Where is the best place to get stuff?
There is dh, a toddler and a newborn to think of.

Isn't it time I started getting excited?

It is so noce, and only aroung 200 pitches, so not massive. they do a moule and frite night , which is great fun, the pitches are nice and big so you don't feel all hemmed in. And with the Chateux, you sort of feel you are in a country park!

it is about 15 mins drive from the coast in the vendee.

That's the thing with having a tent, I guess, you can go on lots of little breaks cheaply and try different sites - have tent will travel Smile

we did 4 trips last year and have three planned for this year already.

we use ready beds plus a fleece if necassary for ds1 and ds2, they're fab. Ebay usually have a range.

\link{http://www.uk-holiday-shop.co.uk/holidays/park-resorts-self-catering-nodes-point.shtml\ here for the summer holiday} been before, tis fab

Am majorly excited (paid for ferry today), can't wait! Grin

Asda have a few things, as do The Range and we like Millets and Argos- with them and ebay you can get anything. Don't go overboard though, a trip helps you work out what your eally need ime.

Yey! Love camping, we always go camping whenever we have a free weekend between May and September (live in Plymouth so Cornwall is kind of handy!). Went camping throughout pregnancy, walked back from pub to tent over shingly cliff path, wearing flip flops, in the dark, at about 36 weeks (Grinam still proud!!!) and then took ds camping at age 3 and a half weeks - went totally fine, my brain was still a post-natally faffy but I seem to recall it being good fun! REALLY looking forward to this summer, have idyllic visions of ds crawling through grass, sitting on picnic rug in the sunshine and playing in the sand (yes, yes, I know the reality will be crawling through grass eating rabbit/fox/badger poo, grouchy baby bored in damp tent, sitting on beach with sun in eyes and sand in eyes, ears and nose!!! But sod it I'm still really looking forward to it!!
