one handed typing only

i need a wee but i have not yet recovered from the wailing that ensued when i dared to put her down long enough to make myself a butty and refill my water bottle

not looking forward to tonight... last time she did this she woke 5 or 6 times a night for a feed instead of the usual one or two

can anyone enlighten me as to the usual ages for growth spurts? when will they stop?

dd2 is 18 weeks old. not many left now, surely?

Hello spurters

How are you all getting on

we seem to have come out of the other side

there is hope

She isn't feeding quite so often, athough it's still fairly frequent but that appears to be normal for her

It all seems to be doing her good though, she is all fat and squidgy

Jaggythistle I have decided there's no point trying to get her to bed before she's ready, she just squawks and squawks. I think she gets overtired too, she hardly sleeps during the day atm, but nothing I do seems to encourage her to nap. I am still getting nothing done during the day as she now needs entertaining between feeds - I shouldn't wish her babyhood away but it'll be much easuer I think when she can sit and play independently.

Hello,

Feeding has settled down a bit, still up at all hours though (yawn, again). You can see what is meant about the development at this age though, he's found his feet to play with this week and discovered lots of new noises to shout/squeal at tired Mummy. I guess it is the 4-month sleep regression I have read about.

He seems to be getting longer instead of chubbier, he's stretching at the shoulders of a lot of sleepsuits. Still a chubby legged wee monkey though.

He is definitely looking for more interaction as you say though.

I just hope he learns to sleep for more than about 2 hours at a time again, this is hard going!!

We are still growing here . Am trying to put time to good use and do some OU study [hollow yet slightly hysterical laugh]

good luck to all those still up with their growing babies

Can I join you? DS's life so far (6months) has been one long growth spurt it seems, with a few weeks of respite thrown in just to get my hopes up. Is it too early for chips?

Good news - trying not to count my chickens too much, but things are improving...

HE has been happy going at least 3 hours between feeds in the day and almost at night too. I am feeling slightly more human.

Just waiting for 6 month fun now...

Hey ladies,

Just found this and thought I'd bump it up to see how you are all doing
