Watching it and going to comment as I watch:
First of all, Philips Avent conducted a survey that says more women want to breastfeed, but are worried about doing it in public...the cynical side of me says... Well, bingo, Avent make bottles so you can get the "benefits of breastmilk, but none of the shame" (and in large fiery letters, I think FFS!).
OK, will press play again...
Breastfeeding's not as socially accepted as it could be - there was a survey fairly recently (in the last year or two) that showed that over 80% of people thought bfing in public was fine - actually, more people thought it was fine than the percentage of women who start to breastfeed - how ironic.
So Vicki's not telling the full story here. Quelle surprise.

WTF is this bollocks about a baby feeding one day and refusing to feed the next? Is this really the most important thing to have in a video made called "Breast is best!"? This is surely not even in the top ten of concerns that women have about breastfeeding, surely?! Strange-tasting milk?! Evidence for same, please, Vicki.
Aha, I see - "expressing milk" or "using some milk that you've got from the freezer" - what with an Avent breastpump, Vicki, and stored in handy Avent pots? You corporate deleted.

Demand feed for only the first week or so to establish supply? Hokay. Vicki, please, please, please, stop this endless self-promotion based on scant facts. It's tedious and damaging. If you truly care about women, you'll learn more about breastfeeding before you do any more of this sort of stuff.
Pressing play again...
There is a lot of support for mums who wish to breastfeed? Are you kidding?!!!!! Where I live, and where a lot of MNers live, there is nothing but one NCT bfc. OK, you might get lucky and chance upon a midwife who knows her stuff, or a health visitor who isn't actually damaging with her advice, but jeeeeez, Vicki, are you for REAL?! And I'm in London - hardly in the arse end of hicksville.
And why not actually mention the different voluntary groups in the video? You're saying it's hard to access - well, how did you make it any easier?!
Ohhhhhhhh, I see - it's because (handily) Philips Avent have produced a DVD about breastfeeding - with handy tips about how to "use all the equipment" - my cynicism doesn't diminish, Vicki, not one iota.
Pressing play again...
Yeah, it'll only take a couple of weeks, Vicki, in all cases.
Ah, finally, she says something that I agree with:
"Just feel confident. You can produce a lovely baby, why shouldn't you be able to breastfeed it as well?"
But other than that...
