Just wanted to wish you well Popsy. I think there are very real advantages and am still feeding ds at 21 months. That said, not a lot of people know that! I can be open about it on here but cannot be bothered with potentially negative reactions in RL. You do what's best for you and ds, end of story. For the life of me I can't work out how it is anyone else's business anyway! Hope your 2 week now-or-never plan works out

VeniVidiVickiQV · 25/07/2006 20:44

You are doing well popsy.......

popsycal · 26/07/2006 21:07

OH excellent news popsy!

At least you know now that, even in this heat, he can sleep a good 8 hours or until past 3am without needing feeding.

Well done. YOu are doing really well. I think you will have cracked it by this time next week

popsycal · 26/07/2006 21:12

O hope so!

dh is staying at a friend's tonight so i wil have to be string and not bring ds2 into bed for cuddles

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2006 19:10

popsycal · 27/07/2006 19:11

oh hell forgot about all thayt

actually to hijack my own thread
i am DESPERATE for new bras
I am still wearing the bloody bursing bras from when ds2 was born (some of which were from when ds1 was born)
I am sure they do not fit properly

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2006 19:14

Have to say, I dont wear nursing bra's ALL the time now. I am still using ones from when my DD was b/feeding 3 years ago...

I wouldnt know where to suggest tbh.

popsycal · 27/07/2006 19:25

I know - it only occured to me the other day that I don't actually need to especially when we are out as he just does not want to feed if he is busy. Mostly just at home.

Ooooh. I could go bra shopping

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2006 19:26

Exactly.........

popsycal · 27/07/2006 19:30

off to find myself a tape measure!

OP posts:
CorrieDale · 27/07/2006 20:18

You're doing so well Popsy. When you've bought your new pretty non-nursing bras, why don't you try wearing them at night for a few nights? That should end the "feeding when you're practically asleep" thing. Even if they will be a bit uncomfy to wear...

popsycal · 27/07/2006 20:24

good plan!

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2006 20:26

That IS a good plan!

popsycal · 27/07/2006 20:27

either that or bind myself with bandages
