I struggled to establish bf with both my DC so its good to know they enjoy it and makes me glad i persevered. What things have your lo's said about your milk/boobs that have put a smile on your face?

This thread is lovely, but I'm sad to say my toddler never said anything about nursing or my milk until after she'd weaned. When DS was born a couple of months later, I expressed a bit of milk into a cup for her to drink as she had asked for 'booboo' a few times but had already forgotten how to latch. She tasted it, promptly spat it all back into the cup, then threw the whole lot of the floor saying 'me no like it'... I probably shouldn't laugh, but it still made me giggle...

As I'm now BF my DS, hopefully he'll nurse long enough to say lovely things about it...

Aw. My DS is just 7 months but already makes sort of 'mmmm mmmm' contended noises sometimes but am looking forward to finding out what else he might have to say when he's talking or signing!

Ds3 stopped a year ago at 3.5. I didn't always enjoy it at the time but the upsides were definitely more

I don't normally get gooey about maternal things, but this is all so sweet.

DS and DD have both giggled themselves off the breast, and both have patted it/them.

Love this thread! ds2 is very possessive of my boobs, he likes to slap them though which is annoying! I love how happy he gets though, he sometimes claps his hands as I'm getting my boob out. I love it when he falls asleep in my arms feeding, I don't plan on anymore children so I just like to treasure those lovely breastfeeding cuddles.

I love this. DD 8 weeks is so sweet. After feeding she stretches and puts her hands behind her head and smiles. She also coos and smiles and looks at me! I wonder what she would say if she could speak? I was planning to wean her at 6 - 9 months but i'm not sure I want to now. It is a special time.

DS (4 months) starts wriggling everything as soon as he sees me dispatching the bra. I am sure I would get applause, if he could do it. His boob hugs in the evening are incredibly sweet.

Love this thread! I too have to feed various toys/ dolls/ iggle piggle! The sweetest thing is when she kisses boobies before a feed when I ve been at work all day as if she has missed them so much. (23 months). The worst is when she twiddles the spare nipple like fine tuning a radio, drives me nuts!

Dd1 told her younger sister yesterday "you have some yummy booby milk, it's warm and fuzzy in your tummy and then you will be big and strong just like me!" This made my heart melt and dd1 self weaned 13 months ago but clearly still remembers.

DD is 13 months and will happily pull down my top shouting "Booooo!" When she sees DH without a top in she points and laughs as if to say "You've got nipples too Daddy!!!"

After reading this thread i asked my DD why she likes feeding so much, she replied "its yummy yummy mummy"...and couple of weeks ago after a feed she just patted on my boobs and said "hmmm that was nice"... I was She is 2 yrs old

DS 23 months just beams at me when he's finished. It's so sweet, and I forgive him for still waking 3 times a night for Miiiiiilk.....
