I was approached the other day by a lovely lady who was offering free ice cream tasting as part of a Market research thing.
Obviously I thought long and hard before eventually agreeing
After a few questions about what kind of ice cream I buy and how much, she asked if I had any allergies and then if I was breastfeeding. I had DD 1 years old with me and said yes. She looked at my daughter was a bit flustered and said " I mean are you breastfeeding continuously"
I said I didn't really know what she meant, she said "so you are breastfeeding, I said yes ( sorry stealth boast as quite proud im "still" feeding) and she said I couldn't take part
Now, apart from not getting my free ice cream I wasn't bothered about the exchange, but I don't understand why?
Am I not meant to be eating ice-cream? is there something in vanilla that could possibly be transferred to my DD? Or is it just an over cautious Health and Safety thing?
