Thank you for Frazzled, I really loved it!
This is a book I keep picking up and rereading!
It's packed with clear accessible information about how our brains work and so many practical tips to distract your mind from self induced stress. I especially like the chapter with mindfulness advice for children. I want to teach my child these simple techniques! I think the earlier he learns them and gets used to using them, the better he'll avoid burnout in the future.
Thank you for your honesty Ruby and all the great advice!

Those who have read this book, will it help dd1 (26) who has OCD and crippling anxiety? She's on meds and goes to counselling but her life is just slipping by with no job, no social life....She doesn't sleep at night then sleeps all day. At a loss for how to help her

Thanks for the great book. I'm not one for reading so it has been a challenge, not finished it yet but just started the first week of a guide to mindfulness. I am hopeful it will really help to ground me when having unpleasant thoughts.
Like the fact it is written with some humour and great to realise I'm not alone.

I haven't finished reading this as I keep picking it up and putting it down. I found the style at the start very hummerous, it reminded me of how a stand up comedy would be written down ( if that makes sense?). Which is funny but it made it hard for me to concentrate on the bigger picture of what was being talked about. :)
I will try to keep going with it!
