Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My carrotcake will be coming out of the oven soon

Juwesm · 26/03/2009 13:57

I also find it important, whilst on ML, to text DH at work with fascinating details of my day. Like 'I am clean now, and no longer smell like a hobo'.

Just had mushrooms on toast. Yummmm. Now really must work on acquiring some cake, or I won't get my daily quota in.

Very Q round here again today.......

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 26/03/2009 14:00

i waaaaaaant caaaaaaake... but can't leave till the mw gets here!! is anyone keen to do a preggie mercy mission to Surrey and save me from my cakelessness? even a muffin would do... sniff sniff...

SpringySunshine · 26/03/2009 14:18

About to catch up (have been doing boring money things all day - which has led to me being called Mrs Springy a lot as I've changed various details around... It still makes me giggle ) but first, if any of you are energy supplier experts, can you help me here please?

bronze · 26/03/2009 14:45

man that carrot cake is gooey and sticky and sickly sweet

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 26/03/2009 15:03

That's mean Bronze... [pouty face emoticon]

tee hee hee!

Juwesm · 26/03/2009 15:14

Sorry Springy - haven't a clue about all that energy stuff. In fact pretty much anything financial completely goes over my head.

PuzzleRocks · 26/03/2009 15:43

A term for a skinny girl with a rockin hot bod. Also used interchangeably as a term meaning intense sexual intercourse.

The above is the urban dictionary defintion of my name. Naturally.

My surname, however, is apparently a particularly vulgar term used in Dublin to denote the fanjo.

PuzzleRocks · 26/03/2009 16:12

Have you all gone into labour?

bronze · 26/03/2009 16:18

not me

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 26/03/2009 16:22

me neither... still waiting for the darn MW!!! I have no idea how to get in touch with her either - the one I saw on Tues was a bank MW who just does appointments, she was going to get her colleague to come today but I don't know who she is or how to contact her, otherwise I'd phone! Ah well, such is life... although a whole day without cake has been rather painful...

Juwesm · 26/03/2009 16:27

No labour here

Kitty, it's a bit rubbish of them that you've been in waiting all day and still no idea when someone's going to turn up. Have you got a general number for them? I'd be beginning to wonder whether it had been booked or not.....

brettgirl2 · 26/03/2009 17:04

Yay, really good news Kitty.

My MIL has been round today with curtains for the nursery and a really big (and lush) chocolate cake .

BoffinMum · 26/03/2009 17:32

Just had mw appointment - all is well at this end but a warning - she says please don't fiddle with your cervixes too much because they will get puffy and inflamed, and not open when you want them to. Also please don't remove mucus plugs or fiddle with them because they are there to block infection.

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 26/03/2009 17:40

I'm back... no cake in Tesco Express BUT they did have those Gu Millionaires Shortbread thingies and some Belgian Chocolate Haagen Daz, so I won't starve to death...

anyone want some?

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 26/03/2009 18:17

Boffin - I'm still cervically intact untouched by human hands since falling pg!

AuldAlliance · 26/03/2009 18:18

Just out of curiosity, Boff, did you tell the MW that you are part of an online group of mothers-to-be who routinely report on the current state of their cervixes? Or are you passing on to the commune the advice that she gave you individually?

bronze · 26/03/2009 18:20

ditto nutty
I just dream about looking for mine instead
