Yes, Boff! Dress up as a fellow farmer! & take photos!

bronze · 20/03/2009 10:35

Is he a farm hand though or a farmer. If hes a wealthy farmer then encourage it for all its worth (materialistic moi?)

bronze · 20/03/2009 10:43

I know I'm fantastic at killing threads but surely even I can't stop the march of the aprilers

Juwesm · 20/03/2009 10:44

Sorry, don't know about everyone else but I was busy thinking about farm-hands.....

SpringySunshine · 20/03/2009 10:47

Sorry bronze, I had to dash off to do some interesting toileting. I bet you're glad you mentioned the quiet, now

I'm so sick of all the signs of labour & no baby to prove it. It's not fair! [sulky]

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 20/03/2009 10:48

oooooooo aarrrrrrr

B52s · 20/03/2009 10:54

The April Ladies (and I use the term loosely) are now infringing on my dreams. Mumble how are you? I think we're in the same town (sunny Swindon). I dreamt you went into labour and I looked after your little ones. Bizarre.

Juwesm · 20/03/2009 10:55

Well, I do have 43 acres...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 20/03/2009 10:55

B52s We get everywhere lol

OP posts:
SpringySunshine · 20/03/2009 10:57

I know that's the logical conclusion, Nutty, but I'm not sure that I will

I wouldn't mind having all of the labour stuff if I was going to get a baby.

Equally, I wouldn't mind (so much!) waiting for the baby if I didn't have the labour stuff.

But to have the really painful contractions, back ache, period pain, shooting fanjo pains, nausea, diarrhoea & so on but still no sign of a baby... Grrrrr.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 20/03/2009 10:57

Juw show off lol do you have any farm hand of your own?

I must say i have always fancied a bit of Stable Boy.......i think i have read too much Jilly Cooper

OP posts:
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 20/03/2009 10:59

Springy, the media coverage here (even a "moderate" paper like Le Monde just uses gymt pronouncements as info wondering when they will "be able to carry out their much-needed reforms"; when it describes the lecturers' reactions, it refers to "impressions", "feelings", "notions" "hypersensitivity" and other terms suggesting that we are a bit dim and not in possession of the actual facts) has been an eye-opener, as have the blatant lies told by the gvmt, which add to the general feeling of being despised. It's really amazing when you know what the reality is, to see how politicians can twist facts and figures.

The problem is that the politicians here just don't want to stand down, because their policy is to try and weaken the education system with a view to privatising chunks of it (I didn't think this at first, but now do) and they can't take on any more staff because Sarkozy has promised not to replace 1 in every 2 state employees upon retirement and God forbid that he should publicly backtrack on any of his plans. In fact, our working conditions are just an added factor; most people are on strike against vast plans that they think will worsen education as a whole, from nursery to uni. It is just that given our conditions, the contemptuous response from Sarko & Co added fuel to the flames, since people felt such underlying discontent with the system.

SpringySunshine · 20/03/2009 11:01

Pah, that's nothing. I have more than 43 acres of tummy these days, I think

Speaking of which, just uploaded photos. My bump's even lower than that now, even though they were only taken yesterday

I also found a picture on my camera of me in October when I thought I was pretty huge already. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

bronze · 20/03/2009 11:02

I want some land just think I could have pigs and goats and get loads more chickens

Juwesm · 20/03/2009 11:03

No farm hands but I do have the aforementioned firm hands, though they are at work today!

Whinny , no wonder you like spending so much time on the April Ladies racecourse. You just want to help with the mucking out!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 20/03/2009 11:06

Juw - lol sod the mucking out its the rolling in the hay i want i have heard they can be a bit handy with a crop too
