DING DONG DING DONG - It's wedding day for our little springysunshine!!!

How is everyone this morning?

I seem to be having a super-organised day, woke up bright and breezy and am on my third load of washing, have cleaned the kitchen, had a bath and tidied everything up down there just in case there are any more horrible internals at my hospital appointment today and am about to start work (early)!!!

PuzzleRocks · 20/02/2009 09:05

Morning

Nutty - I posted these yesterday. I'll keep them bumped.

Wow BB, now I feel lazy. Any more BH's?

BabyBolat · 20/02/2009 09:38

Funny you should say that - they have massively reduced over the past two days (funnily enough the two days I have been at home and not at work), have had one this morning but generally calmed down a lot!

Don't feel lazy - compared to Bleu I am practically stationary!!!

BoffinMum · 20/02/2009 09:39

Good stuff Puzzle.

PuzzleRocks · 20/02/2009 09:40

Great news BB.

How are you this morning Boff?

BoffinMum · 20/02/2009 09:48

Hips very bad and still as hacked off as yesterday tbh. Baby's head has engaged which means there's even more pressure down there now. I was awake half the night with it which didn't help because I am tired now. I have more of a reaction to Oramorph than Nutty so while I do have some, I don't like using it.

PuzzleRocks · 20/02/2009 09:49

Oh bugger. Do you think you will venture out with DH today?

B52s · 20/02/2009 09:55

Nutty I have just got off my arse and emailed you.
I have BH every day and am starting to alarm people at work.
When do you think Springy will check in? Between her vows?!?

BoffinMum · 20/02/2009 10:14

DH is so keen and eager to cheer me up I will go along with it.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 20/02/2009 11:00

Puzzle - Well done and thank you my partner in crime lol xx will help you bump

BB - you busy bunny, so glad the BHs have calmed down for you yay ((hugs))

B52s - thank you kindly

Boffin - ((Hugs)) if its any consolation i only use the oramorph at night when i have dh with me, as it makes me feel really out of body (takes away the pain) but i cant really see or coordinate properly, and feel quiite nauseous. Thats only 2.5ml (i'm allowed to take 5ml every 4hrs but that really does blow my socks off and i cant even speak). I feel safer taking it when DD is in bed and DH can look after me so just survive on paracetamol till about 8pm.

Boffin - also (sory to bang on) my doctor said that i should stay off the codine during the day when using the morphine apparently it counteracts with each other (i'm not sure which he said but its due to the codine being from either the same/different drug group)

Happy wedding day springy!

morning lovely ladies. sending my love Boff.

PuzzleRocks · 20/02/2009 11:25

Happy wedding day Mrs Springy.

Bleuravin · 20/02/2009 11:27

Ha, I hardly do anything most days BB...Like today I just got DH out of bed and to work at a decent time and then did some shopping at Sainsbury's (1/2 baby toiletries ladies!). I didn't really know what to buy so I bought some more maternity pads, and some nipple cream and another bottle of baby bath and some cloth wipes, though I don't really plan to use disposable wipes unless I'm out and about.
I'm thinking of whipping up a special bag which I can use for a nappy bag. But I'm going to have to give it some thought as to how much space I'll need and how many pockets to make...

Hopefully the doldrums will have moved on for everyone today. I can tell you it smells just like Spring in Cardiff. It surely is just around the corner (which is why I love the UK Spring comes a good two/three months earlier than back home)Hugs to everyone!

Yay, happy wedding day Springy!

Swaliswan · 20/02/2009 12:07

Sorry I've been AWOL. DD has been ill and getting up lots at night just at the time that I am not sleeping well with frequent trips to the loo. Not to mention some late nights whilst I've been getting the flat ready to go on the market. The flat went on the market on Monday at 2pm and we had a first viewing at 4pm! Nothing has come of it and we haven't had any viewings since. I'm hoping that when the agents have amended the floor plan on rightmove, there will be hordes of people flocking to see the flat It would really help if they hadn't cut half of our bedroom and bathroom off of the floor plan making the flat look smaller than it is. I'm a bit bored of nesting now and just want to put my feet up with lots of chocolate and chick flicks

Right, I have to go and do some more housework before I pick DD up from nursery. Oh, and if I manage to get my lunch now then I can have a long nap this afternoon when DD does.

Swaliswan · 20/02/2009 12:07

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Nasty BH!

Maybe I should give the housework a miss

BabyBolat · 20/02/2009 12:18

I am with you on that Swaliswan, my boss is hungover and making my morning hell so that and my BH which now seem to have come back with conviction mean all I want to do is tell him where to stick it and sit on my sofa with chocolate xx

Bleuravin · 20/02/2009 12:22

BB your BOSS is hung over? Very professional.

I think we should all sit down and have some blueberry muffins and eat some brownies and have a nice cup of tea or coffee and biscuits.... Let me just put the kettle on...

OddEyes · 20/02/2009 12:26

Happt Wedding Day Springy!

I am back from Cardiff! I did it all by myself with ds in tow. Had to stop numerous times for wee stops. Did return drive from 8.30pm (my usual bedtime) last night so was much easier traffic but am now very tired. Seen my little niece and waved to a few of you as I passed.

Mattress and Car seat arrived today.

Am thinking about buying a base for carseat SIL had one and she loves it as now bending into car to fix it in, just clicks in and out. Anyone else have any thoughts?

OddEyes · 20/02/2009 12:26

right off to catch up...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 20/02/2009 12:34

Swaliswan- yup sit down eat chocolate and put your feet up!! (info recieved, thanks )
