Anyone else want to moan with me?

Due January 19th and I am sooo over being pregnant. This is my 4th and final baby and I'm just ready for him to be here now!

My ribs ache from him kicking them and I have horrible round ligament pain from his wriggling😭

The 4th one is brutal isn't it!

I'm so so done after this little guy is here🤣

We have 3 girls currently so having a boy is quite the shock! I was told at the growth scan at 32 weeks he's measuring 5 weeks ahead (which explains the discomfort) so I'm having extra scans and probably being induced early😅💜

@EllieRosesMammy absolutely this pregnancy has been 10x harder! This is my 1st girl I have 3 boys! So we're opposites 🤣 definitely the last! I'm dreading Labour but also can't wait to not be pregnant. I'm on weekly scans ATM but she's dropping percentiles so hoping she picks up or we might be inducing early too! Desperate to make it to January! X

Wow we are literally the opposite🤣 yours might be an early induction for being too little and mine for being too big!

Hopefully we both make it to January! 2 of our daughters have December birthdays (23rd and 30th) so I'm praying I don't have another one haha🤣

Honestly I'm not too fussed about labour, just give me that gas and air and I'll be fine! X

@EllieRosesMammy so my growth scan went well today and she's gone back up to the 36th percentile from the 10th so my next scan isn't until 37 weeks!
Hopefully we make it to January. I really don't want a December baby. Wow 2 already 🫣 maybe your body just likes December 🤣. Have your labour's got easier or faster each time? X

Aww I'm so happy she's put on weight for you!! My first one was born on the 25th centile at 41 weeks + 2 days, weighing 7lb 10oz 😁

I think I just need to completely avoid my husband in April/May time as that's when I'm clearly most fertile🤣

And well I've been induced with all 3 of them so far, so they've all been quite dragged out. But they did get quicker each time!

DD1 induced at 41 weeks due to being overdue. 1st induction failed. 2nd worked. Waters broke for me. Put on oxy drip to speed up contractions (17 hour labour)

DD2 induced at 39 weeks due to reduced movement. Waters broke for me. Put on oxy drip to speed up contractions (13 hours labour)

DD3 induced at 39 weeks due to LGA baby. Waters broke for me. Put on oxy drip to speed up contractions (10 hours labour)

So I'm hoping this one will be 7 hours or less judging by that pattern? 😂 A lady on my FB just had a baby and her labour was 9 minutes long, smug bitch 🙄😂 x

Had another growth scan today, he's jumped up even further above the 97th centile 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm 35 + 4 days and he's estimated to be 7lb 10oz already. So they've provisionally booked my induction for the 12th of January and in the meantime I have another scan on 3rd of January when I'll be 37 + 5 days, and if he's jumped up another crazy amount by then they'll dicuss bringing induction forward 😅

@EllieRosesMammy have u had growth scans with your other children. I have found my previous ones to not be very accurate 🫣 my next one is 9th Jan. How u feeling about induction? X

Lottiexx3 · 24/12/2024 10:40

I’m due my 4th on the 18th after 3 girls we are having a boy. I’m over the moon but absolutely terrified at the same time. This will be the 6th child in the household now. My youngest is 10 so this feels all brand new again. But what I can say is this is the worst pregnancy I can remember by far 😫 I am so grateful he’s happy and healthy in there but so done with being pregnant. I know I will get more sleep with a newborn than I do now. Braxton hicks are ramping up, I have had period pains on and off for a few days now, pain and pressure in my back, increase in discharge but no show or anything like that. I have only gone into labour once naturally and then my waters literally went very dramatically and I woke up early hours in full blown labour and she was born 3hrs later. My others where induced so actually haven’t a clue what to expect, you would think I would know by now but I don’t. 🤞🏻we get past Christmas Day then anytime after that little man is more than welcome to make an appearance

Toriiaa · 26/12/2024 19:45

Ohhhh 100% over being pregnant. Due 28th Jan
My poor hormones are all over the place, DD was born October 23, I breastfed and then fell pregnant whilst breast feeding.
Didn't find out I was pregnant til I was nearly 12 weeks.
I now have some crappy flu where the cough is coming from the bottom of my lungs, I'm peeing myself when I have a coughing fit
My bump is tiny compared to the first time round but I had an anterior placenta, where as this one is a posterior placenta so I feel every single kick.

I am hoping I'm late in one way, but in another I want him here so I can get on with my recovery.
I have a home birth planned, completely drug free. So he will come when he's ready

Skl2021 · 26/12/2024 23:33

@Toriiaa I have got this rotten flu thing too. Had it a week now. Cough that bad its making my tummy and ribs hurt. Also being sick and peeing myself 🫣 I'm exhausted hoping it goes soon doesn't seem to shift x

Toriiaa · 27/12/2024 07:28

@Skl2021 it's horrible. I took echinacea last night, hoping it'll kick in today. Having a 14 month old running around makes life so much harder when your lungs are full of mank.

Hope you're okay 🩷

Skl2021 · 27/12/2024 12:58

@Toriiaa I feel.your pain I have a just gone 2 year old aswell. It's been that bad that I haven't been able to get off the sofa luckily My oh is off work for Christmas. Hope you feel better too! Hope your home birth goes well 💓 xx

Toriiaa · 27/12/2024 18:51

@Skl2021 have you bought a double pram yet?x

Skl2021 · 27/12/2024 19:20

@Toriiaa yes we have gone for uppababy vista. My 2 year old will walk bit likes to run off so would prefer him to be in the pram secure! Hopefully won't need it double for long then just use it as a single. We were going to go for the baby jogger double gt but found it quite heavy and thought I might struggle getting through gaps and also would be a waste when my 2 year old won't use it x

Toriiaa · 27/12/2024 19:28

@Skl2021 yeah I fancied a tandem over a side by side so went for a cybex gazelle, then sold it and bought an e-gazelle as we decided two kids in a pram walking to nursery might be a task as we live on a hill and I try to walk to nursery to drop off and pick up .
Do you know the sex of baby 2?

Skl2021 · 27/12/2024 19:31

@Toriiaa yes I have seen them they look good. Very handy if u have alot of hills. Never needed a double pram before so hoping it's OK! This baby is our 1st girl we already have 3 boys! Definitely no more I'm so done! X

Toriiaa · 27/12/2024 20:13

@Skl2021 at least you have the opportunity of a girl. I was devastated at first when I found out our second is a boy.
Think I've just got my head around it

Little girls are ace, she's non stop, but amazing

You've practically wrote my current situation there so same to everything!! 😂 Apart from the labouring naturally once, I've been induced with all 3 girls so I really don't know what it's like to labour naturally! I've got another scan on the 3rd and if his weight hasn't jumped up again we will be inducing on the 12th. If they find that he's jumped up above a certain weight they're gonna dicuss bringing me earlier (probably the 5th eek) 💙

Ooh so you'll have a 15 month age gap?! I have exactly that with DD2 and DD3! It's very hard work having two so close in age but also they're inseparable which is very sweet🩷

I bloody hope it's not long, I'm so fed up with being pregnant 😅 everything is exhausting. I took maternity leave from my "fixed employment" at 29 weeks where I'm a chef but still working from home (small business owner - cake maker) and I've got 2 more birthday cakes to complete before I'm finally officially on maternity leave. Usually I'd be able to do 6 cakes in one weekend, plus work during the week, but lately even 1 per weekend is exhausting - I feel proper useless 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

@EllieRosesMammy I started maternity at 30 weeks too. I was in so much pain I just couldn't do it. My ribs and back are constantly hurting. Are you prepared for baby? I feel really behind I haven't done my hospital bag. Still have a list of things I need for baby. Haven't gone through clothes. Haven't set anything up 🫣 hope she doesn't come anytime soon as I'm not prepared 🤣 x

Aww bless you!!

So I've packed all the baby's stuff in the hospital bag - nothing packed for me😂 he has a pram, cot and rocker. We have bottles and steriliser if breastfeeding doesn't work out. Other than that we have Amazon incase we have forgot anything 😂 x

@EllieRosesMammy what size clothes have u packed? I need to pull my finger out and get it done. Been getting alot of pains in my stomach and lower back today which is making me 🫣 if she does come we have nothing ready! Have u had any twinges or signs yet? X
