Happy Mother's Day to you too @Not@NotAdultingToday, hope you had a lovely day! On Mother's Day last year we told our families that I was pregnant. And here she is now, 4 months old. Where does the time go??

Hey how is everyone? Can you believe our babies are/nearly are 1! Time has flown so quickly!

Is anyone doing anything for birthdays? We are doing a soft play party 😂 mostly because we wanted to get everyone together but didnt have a space big enough and this was the easiest thing and also ds2 loves this softplay as theres a lovely baby section and figured we should do something he likes 😂

Good morning everyone! I was only thinking of this thread the other day. Hope you're all well.
It's my birthday next week and then my LOs the following week. We are just doing tea and cake at the weekend with family and close friends. Just to sing happy birthday to her and give her some cake 😂 on the actual day though it'll just be the three of us, we're gonna take her somewhere nice, just haven't decided yet!

Can’t believe it’s been a year already! I’m broody for another baby lol. Think we are just going to take DS out somewhere the 3 of us, maybe the farm. And then family can come see him in the afternoon for cake.

@NotAdultingToday No not walking yet. Just doing a weird backwards shuffle on the floor lol. Plenty of babbling though. Clapping hands, it’s very cute!

Sounds lovely @Beanniebaby22 we've just recently started crawling but all she wants to do is walk. And by that I mean be pulled to standing and walk around holding our hands, great for your back! She's full of babbles as well, non stop. Mama, Dada, baba and hi which is so cute. She can shake her head for no which is brilliant 😂

@NotAdultingToday Oh that’s pretty good! I’m stretching my annual leave too so should be back 1st week of December but using annual leave every week to reduce hours. New job too so different working hours and can be home with DS during the day which is nice!

Hey everyone! We’re doing good, can’t believe how fast this year has gone. Little one has started walking today 😍 we’ve just got a family cake and snacks thing at home for the 1st birthday.

I returned to work 4 days in September and it’s been horrid, but he loves nursery so I can’t complain!

Nice to hear about how the babies are getting on x

(Not so) Little guy can do 5-6 steps at a time. Shouts a lot, loves banging things and knocking things over, eats anything and everything, sleeps pretty well. He is an absolute joy and tremendously smiley, relaxed and cute. I’m already pregnant with DC2 (16 weeks!) and so my little November ‘22 baby is going to be a big brother- at 16 months old! If we can have another one like we’ll be very happy 😃

Aww nice to see everyone's updates. I can't believe they're nearly 1 😭 I'm not ready!! I've been back at work about 5 weeks now but only do early or late shifts. Baby has been fine and I'm still breastfeeding but my supply has adjusted which is all good. It's so strange to think this time last year I was heavily pregnant and now she's a babbling little thing crawling about! But it's been the best year ever 🥺

Ah congrats @KatieP8 lovely news. I'm back at work the end of November, hoping to go back only four days but not confirmed yet. But I really can't complain cause my hours are 8-4 with a 1pm finish on Wednesdays and a 10 minute commute and my Mam is minding her so it could be much much worse!

Hey everyone! So lovely reading everyone's updates. Crazy to think this time last year most of us were complaining of insomnia, lightening crotch and general heaviness 😂.

DS2 could walk if he wanted but gets scared and squats into a crawl again. He says mama, hello, yes and theeees (this). That's about it, funny how different they can be. DS1 at this age still couldn't crawl, had 2 teeth and spoke for England. He could say so many words by now everyone would be shocked, DS2 is so active, already has 6 teeth and speaks a strange hybrid language which sounds half-bird/half-Austrian.

Both boys are a week apart so we may just do a joint indoor play session with their friends.
