Hello all you April 2020 Babies Thread mums to be.

Here, as promised, is a stats list we can all add our info to. Should make it easier to keep track of one another if we so wish. I'll start with mine:

Gnat99, age 41, DC2 i.e. this will be my second, EDD 4th April. Boy/Girl if known

It would be great if everyone who wants to can just add her own details, cutting and pasting the previous names on the list too so that it reads chronologically by due date. Hope this makes sense!

Thanks it helps to know we arent alone! Also read up thread about sickness returning in 3rd trimester, I've been wondering what was wrong with me!! Glad we are on the count down now

Hi all, I have added myself to the list. I am another one without a facebook account but love to chat to others at similar stage in pregnancy. It's such a rollercoaster!

Welcome @pastnowfuture! How's the third trimester going for everyone? I'm counting down the weeks left at work, can't wait to finish but also anxious I'll be very bored before baby comes (especially if I go overdue!)

I can't wait to finish work. Even though I love my team and enjoy my job I am just done with dragging myself out of bed in the morning and sitting at an uncomfortable desk. I'm due to finish 3 weeks before due date so early April

Currently 33 weeks but section booked at 36+2 (07-04-20) because of complicated pregnancy. This is ds1 but 3rd pregnancy. Lots of mc’s so a very special baby for us. ( last one too )
Nervous and excited. I’m almost 40!
I’m pretty sure I have everything ready- struggling with pretty major brain farts atm, so probably forgotten something.

How is everyone doing? Anyone had their baby yet? I'm nearly 38 weeks! Just waiting excitedly!!

@Serendipity001 ahh you're so close to the end, how exciting!! Have you got your hospital bag ready and packed?
I'm 36 weeks on Tuesday so a few more weeks to go! Can't believe they'll be here soon 🙊

Has anyone's hospital said anything about birth partners etc because of what's happening? Mine has restricted to one birth partner and no visitors in the postnatal ward (apart from birth partner). Although, I don't think I'm too sad about the latter, it'll be nice to have some time with the little one once she's here without visitors around!

Yes I actually packed it this morning! Hubby packed one for him too. It's so weird feels like we were were picking for a holiday! I have a few bits to add snacks wise but that's it. Pretty much ready now and waiting!

My hospital said exactly the same - only one birth partner and no visitors. But that doesn't bother me as I only wanted my hubby there and same as you we don't mind just spending time 3 of us post labour. But hospital also advised no home visitors too so that sucks a bit for our parents especially. All my appointments have carried on face to face as normal though - so far!

I am now on mat leave and staying indoors so I think the days may drag now on a bit not being able to get out!

15 days to go. C Section is booked and I can’t wait I have had difficulty breathing today as my ribs feel like they are breaking. I’m ok if I lay down though. I can’t spend the next 15 days lying in bed. I’ve got my other two to do school work with and occupy.
Roll on April 7th. Bye bye insulin.

Anyone else bricking it about giving birth? Is there another thread somewhere else.... seems very quiet

This is now the only thread as far as I know. There's a Facebook group (I'm not on) which is probably more active that's why this might be quiet.

When are you due? Because I thought baby would come early term I wasn't thinking so much about labour pain but now I'm nearly 40 weeks I'm on edge daily! Trying to read positive things and keep calm!

I am having a c-section week commencing 20th April. This is my third so have been a bit nonchalant but now panic is starting to kick in

Hope everyone is getting on ok! I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and I've been having painful cramps and all sorts of labour symptoms for a good week now, so was hopeful it might be soon but I've sort of accepted I've got a couple more weeks now.
