Any joiners?

This will be dc2. Edd of July 2nd.

Not one symptom yet. Going to enjoy that and hope it lasts!

Rum I did a CB test this morning just to check for like the 5th time lol so you're not alone. Said 1-2 weeks but should be more like 2-3 weeks - I did panic slightly but then I Googled it and it seems quite common so not too worried.

Sun - Aw that's great to hear!! Baby buddies!! And I'll check that app out too - thank you!

I'm very jealous about everyone with little symptoms - I've got sore boobs, back ache and heartburn - yesterday I had trapped wind and can already feeling it building up for today! And lots of salvia too.

I feel so sexy right now lol!

It'll all be worth it!!

CatRash · 17/11/2016 11:11

Thanks Lally - I'll check those out too! Nothing wrong with having a entire phone screen worth of apps is there lol?!!?

whyistherumgone · 17/11/2016 11:20

So far today I'm just insanely tired despite having a really good night's sleep.
Feel like I'm on a go-slow now and since I found out time has been dragging, I just want to get a but further along so I can scan and check there's still actually something there!

I'm sort of dreading any sickness although weirdly looking forward to it too

TiltedNewt · 17/11/2016 12:21

Thanks sewing at least I'll have 18 months between them. It's just come when I was starting to feel human again!

I've taken about 20 tests over the last week because I just knew it. Felt exactly the same as the first time. But only the last 2 came up positive (whoever says you can't get symptoms until the tests show positive are liars I tell you!). Trying to stop now, with DS I drove myself mad when the weeks on clear blues didn't go up when they should.

As for apps, I downloaded the MN one but I'm not impressed so far. Maybe it gets better once there's a bit more going on? I liked the handprint on the Ovia one last time.

CatRash · 17/11/2016 13:42

Newt - I've taken a lot of tests, got two negs, a positive, then a neg then three positives!! Still don't think I can quite believe it! Think I'm going to feel the need and keep 'checking' for the next few weeks!!

I've now downloaded Glo, Ovia and BabyCentre - thanks guys!! That brings the # of pregnancy apps on my phone to 4 which is one more than 'games for my cat's apps so I feel like I have progressed from crazy cat lady to mad pregnant woman. #winning

whyistherumgone · 17/11/2016 13:50

You've made it Cat Grin

Notyetthere · 17/11/2016 15:35

Hi everyone and welcome to all the newbies. I promised I would update the list yesterday but I never got round to it. I promise I will do it sometime before the weekend.

I was sick yesterday evening and the constant nausea seems to have gone up a notch now. There is lots of saliva that I don't want to swallow for some reason. My deodorant stink. My moisturiser stinks. DH stinks. Our bedroom stinks and our house generally stink. Anybody else feel like this?

Sorry that is a very long winge. Hopefully things should calm down a bit in a few weeks.

Seahawk80 · 17/11/2016 16:20

I feel the same not our coat rack stinks, the front room stinks! I haven't been sick but am constantly on the edge and don't fancy any food - not even chocolate! All I can eat is white carbs and luckily fruit. We normally get hello fresh delivered and I have gone off all of it. I'm going to have to stop it and live off jacket potatoes for the foreseeable future!!

LuciBee231015 · 17/11/2016 16:22

I'm with you, my house stinks 😂 I feel like it constantly smells like we've cooked food and it's making me gag big time. I'm constantly walking round with febreeze!!

whyistherumgone · 17/11/2016 17:23

I don't have the 'everything stinks' thing ...yet, I'm a bit behind you guys though. Still got bloating, tiredness, sore boobs....and a desire to eat mushy peas which have never previously been on my radar.

I've also got a slight mild burny sensation in my stomach - not sure what that is, will keep an eye incase it's a UTI - hopefully not!

After hearing your plans for scans, I booked one at the FML when I'm 10 weeks. Fingers crossed it will still be sticking and growing by then but at least I will know either way and have piece of mind for Christmas.

Anyone else experiencing cravings yet? I thought it would be too early but I'm definitely obsessed with mushy peas!

LuciBee231015 · 17/11/2016 18:42

I haven't had any cravings... The opposite really. Everything makes me feel sick so I have no idea what I want to eat and I don't fancy anything... It's really annoying. Currently sipping on some ginger ale... Meant to help I think. Put it in a wine glass and I feel like I'm having a Thursday night glass of vino!

Seahawk80 · 17/11/2016 19:13

luci I'm the same. Jacket potatoes are a vague crazing as I can stomach them. Love the ginger ale in a wine glass!

0EatSleepTeachRepeat · 17/11/2016 20:33

According to my period maths and 'clue' app I am due July 23rd! Beyond excited! First pregnancy :)

CatRash · 17/11/2016 20:57

Luci I'm like you - no real appetite at the moment and I'm not able to eat my usual portion sizes (but that might be a combo of bloating, heartburn and constipation).

At least mushy peas and baked potatoes are fairly 'normal' foods!

alex171 · 17/11/2016 21:21

Hi everyone hope you've all had a good day. I had my first mw appointment today which was a bit of a let down as she just asked me which hospital I wanted to go with (I was hoping for a scan date) so I think I might go ahead and book the private scan. Do you think it's better at 7 or 8 weeks? They can do it from 7 apparently but would you see much? Smile

em165 · 17/11/2016 21:47

I had a private scan last time and I think it was when I was around 8 weeks. They were able to measure him, see his heart beat and check there was only one baby in there! I'm definitely going to book one this time around too. The wait til 12 weeks is so agonising.

Seahawk80 · 17/11/2016 21:53

alex I would go for 8 if you can wait. If you are out on your dates at all you might not see a heartbeat at 7 which would be more of a worry than a reassurance!

whyistherumgone · 17/11/2016 22:15

Do you think 10 is late to wait for a private scan? I'm hoping I can hold my nerve that long then there won't be as long to wait until the 12 week (mine falls just after Christmas so imagine it won't be bang on 12 weeks).

Everyone seems to go for 8 so I was just wondering

hope everyone who is suffering with sickness is feeling a bit better tonight

whycanineverthinkofausername · 18/11/2016 01:24

I'm due roughly 20th! Midwife next week but the symptoms have been so strong and I was a stronger positive 2 weeks in I'm thinking there may be a possibility of twins, has anyone else had this? As the thought of twins scares me more than just a little! Haha

Miami81 · 18/11/2016 06:13

Rum I think people try to wait to 10 as if there is heartbeat and measurements are good I think it is the same odds as the 12!
No way I can wait to 10 though. Scans in Edinburgh at abc4d or something are £50. So at the moment my Christmas present to me is a scan next Sunday when I am 7+4. My dates can't be out as my cycles are actually shorter then 28, so hopefully that will put my mind at rest.
Think we might also get a second one at 10 wks so we can tell family at Xmas.
Anyone else struggling to sleep? I can take myself off to bed at 9pm I am so tired and then I am awake at all hours! Read somewhere that it's hormonal, but it is really getting to me now, so tired.
Still no sickness. Feel exactly the same as with my Mmc in April. Really hoping for a new symptom soon so I can start to believe this time will be different.......

Miami81 · 18/11/2016 06:15

Never - not sure on the twin thing. But things I have read say very early really strong symptoms sound like you could have a doubler in there all right!! All the best.

Kitsandkids · 18/11/2016 06:47

I rang the Drs yesterday for the result of my urine sample and it was positive. So they booked me in for my midwife appointment. But it's not til mid December when I'll be 12 weeks! And I won't be booked in for a scan until I've seen her! So that might be weeks later!

Ctupp · 18/11/2016 08:24

Hi, just had my bfp on Monday, EDD 18th July 2017. We've not really told anyone yet so thought I would join this group so I can have people to discuss symptoms with! Currently feeling nausea occasionally, very bloated, tired by about 2pm (yawning all day!) and crazy sore boobs! Thinking about having an early scan after reading your posts! This is DC1.

em165 · 18/11/2016 10:05

I had very strong symptoms early on with my first and strong positives before AF was due. There are twins in my family so I thought it could be twins... but it wasn't! I don't have many symptoms this time around just yet but have had very strong positives early on.

whyistherumgone · 18/11/2016 10:08

Thanks miami I'm hoping I can hold on til then as I know if I have one at 8 and my 12 week scan is a bit late, I will want another one inbetween. I haven't experienced MMC myself (touching wood) but my friends who have experienced the same symptoms when they later fell pregnant too, so try not to worry too much (impossible I know!)

I had really bad bloating last night and still got sore boobs (if DH leans in for a cuddle it's agony!) but that's about it. I hear that 6 weeks is when symptoms really kick in.

It's hard when you don't have a lot of symptoms even though you know you should feel lucky, as you can't help but wonder if everything is OK.

Never I hadn't even considered twins, but your symptoms do sound quite strong quite early so could be a possibility!

Congrats kits it's the waiting for things to happen that's the worst isn't it?
