Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Really wil? When does mat start?

laurenamium · 25/11/2014 08:03

Congratulations la Grin

Wil how come?! Can you not say you have made plans and are abroad/ in a different town for Christmas?

wilmabedrock · 25/11/2014 08:34

Ah no holidays left Lauren, which is my own fault really. Didn't want my mat leave to start earlier than necessary. Off at start of January La. So I don't want any early baby arrivals. I need those two weeks of lie ins Grin .

RPopz · 25/11/2014 08:39

Haha, congratulations La Grin Any names yet? Wink

I've got 3 weeks holiday before mat leave technically starts Wil ... God knows how I managed that. Does mean if baby popz is early I'll lose it all though!! Ah well.

That is a bit rubbish of her Lauren ... Sad

RPopz · 25/11/2014 08:40

We should rename ourselves boob gropers anonymous... I was also a closet first trimester groper. Try running up and down the stairs La - that always set it off for me... oof!Shock

laurenamium · 25/11/2014 08:55

Aw man thats a bit rubbish wil SadIs it the kind of job that will be quiet as no one uses the service/ there's not a lot of work with it being Christmas so you can just do the minimum or will it be manic?

Pisghetti · 25/11/2014 09:00

Congratulations La! waves the poo pom poms

Aw Wil that's rubbish.

My first post today made no sense. Mornings suck is a statement. Morning suck sounds like a treat for DP.

Minion · 25/11/2014 09:02

scoob so flabby belly is normal this late on?
Exciting!
la huge congratulations on the turd baby. What weight was it? Are you putting pics on FB?

I'm on my non mat leave, leave now and I'm boredddd! But it's cold outside and I've no intention of going anywhere, much like this child it would seem.

Has anyone read the thread about christmas list sharing? The first post!
Cripes! Tell me that amount of stuff for one child is not the done thing. I'll never be able to afford all that in one go..gulp!
I may bring back an 80s christmas....
1 big pressie, 3 smalls, a stocking and a selection box.

Oh mountain I am so sorry Hun, hope you have lots of in person support xx

min some people go so overboard at Xmas! In our household my parents had a £50 budget for us, grandad from mums side would send £100 at Xmas every year so that would generally be split between my sister and I (DD now gets my share and that will be split between her and bump when bump comes) but everyone on dads side is on a £5 budget per person between each couple (our family is up to 14 people now so it's starting to creep up in cost and could be up to 16 if my cousin and her fiancé also have a baby before next Xmas). Given that DD's birthday is a month before Xmas and bumps will be March/April I might stick to a £50 budget for Xmas for each child for all the things they get on Xmas day and then go a bit more overboard at birthdays...

Need some motivation ladies! I need to get 12 rainbow cupcakes and a butterfly cake made and decorated between now and tomorrow night for DD's party on Thursday...

Leela5 · 25/11/2014 09:35

Sadly I flushed before I could get a picture. His name is Stanley.

Thanks for the congrats, you're all poo aunties.

ChatEnOeuf · 25/11/2014 09:43

Mmm...a chicken sandwich sounds amazing right now. I'll regret it straight after, but that's not the point!

La, excellent news, well done! Pic? DD rolled over my boobs in our bed this morning. If they weren't hurting before, they certainly are now. Every morning for about a week I've woken up thinking my nausea isn't too bad. I then either try and have a drink or go on a train....bam! Sicky sick sick.

Not looked at the Christmas list post will have to nosy for ideas. DD has asked for a fluffy bunny rabbit. Safe to say that dream has been squashed until she's old enough to care for it properly and we're staying in one country for a longer time. She would also like a ticktock (that's a watch to you and I), chocolate coins (this I can do) and a pretty dress (easy). We don't set a formal budget as such, the immediate family is pretty small. Friends get token gifts (wine, usually) and their kids get a £10-15 proper gift. Our antenatal group from DD is still going strong and we're doing our annual secret santa which works well.

Hope work is quiet over the festive period Wil. I'm used to working then, this year and next will be a big treat for me. DH has to work in between the two for a couple of days for the first time in years, thankfully he can do this from home, and the office is so quiet, it'll be very short days.

Pisghetti · 25/11/2014 09:51

DS is definitely more expensive as he gets older - he has virtually nothing on his Christmas list bar a printer but pound shop plastic doesn't cut it any more! We spent £20 on him for his first Christmas (dozens and dozens of presents from friends and family though)

KatoPotato · 25/11/2014 10:08

Stanley Poo-Brick?

I remember my first worrying pains turned out to be constipation, and even now if I need to go I get horrid womble cramps. I do produce epic jobbys however.

laurenamium · 25/11/2014 10:11

Off to search for the Christmas list thread! DD has asked for my little pony tat and a polar bear with a flower on its head that talks Confused and a unicorn...I've spent more than I normally would on her this year because I started buying earlier to spread the cost...definitely a false economy!

Leela5 · 25/11/2014 10:28

A polar bear with a flower on his head and a unicorn? Those are both on my list too! ;)

We are keeping to budget this year. I normally go nuts. I need to not go nuts we possibly have a baby on the way!

Buying kids presents (selection boxes) and a few adults. That's it! I'm getting dh a watch though, he deserves it Smile

I booked it off between Christmas and new year. It helps having family oop north as I can use that as excuse.

No symptoms again today. Grr. Going to start running up some stairs a la popz

Leela5 · 25/11/2014 10:29

Where's Christmas thread? AIBU?

DulcetMoans · 25/11/2014 10:36

Whoa whoa whoa! Not sure how I feel about having a poo being called 'doing a dulcet'! Ok, no. I am fine with it. I did a dulcet this morning too. At work. Got paid for it! Congrats on yours la, hope you feel better!

Going to have to go and read the Christmas thread now min, I need some inspiration! I love christmas but the inlaws make it hard with their negativity - cheer the fuck up people, it's just christmas!!

ChatEnOeuf · 25/11/2014 10:40

Kato Grin

La, it's in Christmas (Fun and Games). I agree, Min, that's a hell of a lot from one kid! DD is (in my mind) quite spoilt at Christmas/her birthday as she's the only grandchild so she gets a LOT of stuff. She isn't grabby or greedy, just very lucky. I've never put a massive amount of money into her gifts, she often is given things I know she will need later that year. DH thought I was a bit weird getting her a front-facing car seat for her second Christmas. She enjoyed pulling at the paper, everyone's a winner!

teejayem · 25/11/2014 11:14

Just snorted out my tea reading the poo escapades. Poo Pom poms! ick! got in nice relaxing bath last night with my last lush bath melt and was overwhelmed with the urge to poo within 10 min of getting in. Rubbish.
My hip and back are niggly today. Trying to put off inevitable GP appt until after I see the consultant, but I am sitting at my desk with a microwaveable wheat pack stuffed down the back of my leggings. On the upside I've got a day off tomorrow to go xmas shopping with mumma tee who I will ply with wine and try on silly hats with :)

laurenamium · 25/11/2014 11:21

Woah that first list is ridiculous Confused those children won't even play with half that stuff because they'll be overwhelmed! I'm not posting my list on there but DD has got a Disney tablet thing so she can do homework and take photos, frozen Anna and elsa dolls, a unicorn hobby horse, an elsa dress and 3 scooby doo toy things. She gets a Christmas Eve box off the elves and will have a Christmas stocking full of plastic jewellery and frozen lip balms, kiddy perfume etc... My DM is getting her my little pony stuff...I thought I had gone over board but clearly not Shock

Leela5 · 25/11/2014 11:29

STABBY LEFT BOOB!

Thanks for 'doing a dulcet' celebrations (sorry dulcet!)

I was quite spoiled as a kid at Christmas because my mum goes nuts but oh my god that list was fucking ridiculous!!!!

KatoPotato · 25/11/2014 11:31

Did you see the list with 80 Shliech (sp) animals? they're about a tenner a pop!

DS is getting Mario Kart K'Nex track and some add on stuff, we've also got him a cuddly chain chomp and a Thwomp cushion. He'll be delighted!

teejayem · 25/11/2014 11:31

OMG, just looked at those lists!! Some of them are just crazy! Maybe I'm a bit Naive to it because we don't have any kids (well none outside my womble) (My nephew aside) in the family... although I admit to buying him far too much last year. (Largely because I didn't know what to buy). Lordy, If that's the expectation I will be bankrupt by the time TinyTee is 4!!

KatoPotato · 25/11/2014 11:44

15 disney DVDs as a stocking filler sounds like a great start!
