Sorry about AF turning up nursey :(

But yay broody for it finally turning up and putting you out of your misery!

I was on children's ward over the weekend, full of newborn babies, ugh my ovaries! Given up temping all together this month as now left my thermometer at my SILs! Going by CM instead!

broodysnoopstie · 22/04/2014 10:53

I've always gone by cm good luck!

Broody wahey... about time!

Which CD do u start checking your CM? And do u do it once a day, if so, when? I was considering starting temping, but may do CM monitoring for a month n see how I get on with it... it appears to be quick n easy to do, is it as simple as it seems.. Up, touch cervix, out...??

broodysnoopstie · 22/04/2014 12:16

Well actually I don't do cervix prodding I just do my knicker check at the beginning and end of the day! Blush and then record if it's creamy watery thick dry egg white etc. but I always have some discharge. If you don't I think you have to prod!!

woodwaj · 22/04/2014 21:37

Sorry about AF broody but im glad your getting somewhere! Im a knicker twitcher too!! Like EVERY trip to the loo. Im ashamed haha.

NurseyJay · 22/04/2014 22:16

When I was on the pill I had much more cm than i do now, or so it feels like. I'm guna start wearing dark coloured knickers as it'll make it easier to see. Lol...
Oh n I'll only prod my cervix if I dnt have any to see in my knickers... :)

Fleurlur · 22/04/2014 22:47

You probably did have more CM when you were on the pill Nursey as thats one of the ways it works ;)

I'm a knicker observer too haha my cervix is far too sensitive to be touched!

NurseyJay · 23/04/2014 06:17

Oh :/ I duno how it worked, I jus kno it did. Lol. What CD do u start knicker observing? Lol.

Fleurlur · 23/04/2014 23:24

Haha well it stops you ovulating, it thins your womb lining and it thickens your cervical mucous and causes more to be produced so that if you did happen to ovulate then the sperm wouldn't be able to swim anywhere. So now you know!

I just do it as soon as I notice some really! Pretty sure I'm heading to fertile CM soon! Not that I'm using it this month, just want to see if I'm gonna ovulate after coming off the implant.

woodwaj · 24/04/2014 07:20

Ooh Little fact fleur. I had been wondering that myself recently! Every month I have less and less cm!

broodysnoopstie · 24/04/2014 11:02

I have lots of cm.. Never a dry day. Blush

Payday tomorrow ladies. I am the happiest person that ever lived!!

Any interesting cycle updates?

broodysnoopstie · 26/04/2014 10:14

Fleurlur · 26/04/2014 16:17

I think I'm ovulating, or about to, lots of fertile CM woop!
Not baby making this month, just seeing if my body is going to ovulate after having the implant out. It seems to be doing the right thing!

woodwaj · 26/04/2014 23:04

I am babysitting tonight. Naughty boy has just gone to bed! I doubt I will get a lie in though!

No idea if I am ovulating or not!! I have been thinking about using some preseed or something like that. Anyone tried and tested?

NurseyJay · 27/04/2014 10:14

I'm on CD 7... be ok to start BDing today, but my DH and I are busy and may not see each other much. I've got work tonight as well, so will need to try and get a nap in this afternoon... but may end up using that time to DTD.

How many times do you DTD each month? I'm on a fb group and someone posted their ovia calendar n they DTD loooads! I'm wonderin if me and DH don't do it enough (due to us both workin shifts, and pure tiredness)...

broodysnoopstie · 27/04/2014 11:31

we don't dtd enough either. Tiredness and DP low libido.. I'm CD 6 and going to jump him later though. Smile

I've got some concieve plus I just use it when we've don't have much time to ahem get me going! Blush

because of my crazy long cycle last time my cbfm wants sticks from today but I'm only on cd 6 and I normally ov around cd 16 do you think if I kept today's stick and kept using it for a few days to save money on sticks it would be ok? ??

OP posts:
broodysnoopstie · 27/04/2014 11:31

fleur hooray for ovulating!

OP posts:
woodwaj · 27/04/2014 11:36

I dont know how the cbfm works broody so im not sure. Cant hurt to try if you have a rough idea what to expect anyway!

We prob dont dtd enough either. Just so tired all the time. The thought of it makes me want to sleep! Ha

woodwaj · 28/04/2014 20:38

I hate my body! I have had a bit of 'old blood' today. I should be ovulating not that! No idea why. Did some tests and negative pregnancy test and opk!!

onelifeonechance · 29/04/2014 08:11

Aw Wood, all sounds v confusing (I'm back from hols btw, hence the lack of posting from me!) Anymore today?

Hope everyone else is doing ok? Did you hear from Vix Wood? Hope you're ok of you're reading this!

Back to work with a bump, we had such a lovely week away, suppose I'd better drag myself back to reality.....

broodysnoopstie · 29/04/2014 09:28

Fleurlur · 29/04/2014 11:37

Wood at the risk of tmi, if you had an orgasm recently the contractions could have just expelled some old blood that was hanging around in there.

Vickyvix2 · 29/04/2014 13:11

Helloooooo!!! So sorry, I have been absent for ages!

I have completely lost my old log in, I think it has something to do with that virus thing and everything got reset, it's taken me ages to log back in, I have basically had to make an entirely new account (hence the 2 in name).... But, I'm back.

And, all good thanks. wood I didn't get the message (cos can't get into old account) but thanks for thinking of me. Had last scan on a couple of weeks ago and MiniV had grown which is a huge relief. She is still tiny but growing on the same percentile line so fingers crossed she carries on that way. They think they will deliver around 37 weeks at the moment, but will find out more at next scan, a week today.

But 37 weeks isn't long! Less than 5 weeks - not sure how I managed to get this far along, have been sticking my head in the sand re birth, it all sounds far too scary. Concentrating mainly on finishing my Easter eggs :)

Right, now I am going to read back through properly to see how you lovely lot have been getting on.

Sorry for go

Vickyvix2 · 29/04/2014 13:12
