onelifeonechance · 22/10/2014 07:54

Hi both

Just thought I'd post so you know I'm still alive! Having roller coaster time as went to last FC appointment and the Dr says we are 'unexplained' and he has recommended IVF. Was a huge shock....getting head round it now...but you can imagine the emotional turmoil hence being awol.

Glad to see you two are getting on ok and your bumpettes are growing nicely Smile

broodysnoopstie · 22/10/2014 08:41

Wood I Would Grin as mine were full when she booked me in she said she'd squeeze me on the end..

One Yay so nice to hear from you. A friend of mine has just gone through a similar thing and she is just getting her head around ivf. Good luck keep us updated x

Flu jab done. Feeling fine so far!! The receptionist couldn't find the booking in forms for the antenatal classes and said she would phone me...she hasnt as yet so I'll bring it up at my midwifes appt tomorrow.

Onelife brill to hear from you. I am surprised your going to go straight to ivf so i can imagine its a lot to get your head around. Any idea on when you get the ball rolling on it? I bet there is loads of support on here for ivf so defo use it! A friend of a friend gave birth naturally to ivf twins last week both very healthy as is mum! Really lovely news

I didn't hear about my booking in and scan until I was 12 weeks! had them both at 13 weeks.. maybe you'll have better luck on pregnancy and antenatal boards as this is conception :) you are welcome on here too but it's a slow thread x

Hi linsey 26 weeks here. I heard back after a few days but it's totally dependent on where you live! I'd prob chase up at 10 weeks if you haven't heard anything!

I finally got booked on Broody! Had to call 3 times apparently one of the ladies had to take the booking away because she messed the appointments up! Im in 10th/11th jan and it will include a tour of the hospital. I have watched the online tour too!!

Kicks are getting really strong and frequent now!!

Linseyd · 02/11/2014 17:01

thank you ladies how did you find the first few weeks xxx

woodwaj · 02/11/2014 20:22

First few weeks were fine. Felt like things were stretching which is normal! My morning sickness kicked in from about 9 to 15 weeks feeling fine now although my OH seemed to enjoy telling me i looked tired today!!

broodysnoopstie · 02/11/2014 21:57

I felt nauseous and tired almost from the very start and was sick from about 7 weeks on. By 16 weeks exhaustion and nausea all got better, I'm about to start 3rd trimester and tiredness is creeping back! x

OP posts:
broodysnoopstie · 02/11/2014 21:58

Wood my belly moves all over the place when I'm kicked. ALIEN!! Grin

OP posts:
woodwaj · 03/11/2014 07:25

My belly moves when no one is looking when i try to film it the bugger stops!!! Boys eh! My tiredness is prob down to decorating but I'm on the countdown to finishing work. When does your mat leave start?

broodysnoopstie · 03/11/2014 21:56

Haha maybe mine is a girl then as I caught her/him on video the other night! I'm trying to go as late as poss as we need the money so going at 38 weeks which is 14th Jan, how about you? xx
