Thanks! :D still waiting to see the consultant bet this takes hours! Wanna go cinema now enjoy the rest of our day off!

woodwaj · 17/06/2014 13:53

Consultant said that bean is a the exact size it should be considering my cycles are 33 days instead of 28 which puts me somewhere between 5-6 weeks. And because he is happy with it I just have my next scan at 12 weeks as normal! (Was hoping all would be well but to still get a cheeky extra one!) Told the in laws and they were proper chuffed!

broodysnoopstie · 17/06/2014 16:15

aw Wood Brilliant news. An extra cheeky scan would be good but still wonderful that he's not concerned. Grin

We are both on the count down to 12 now! Got to phone the docs tomorrow rang today but they wouldn't give me an appointment because I didn't ring at 8am :/

broodysnoopstie · 17/06/2014 18:55

mine is similar you have to ring at 8.30. You have to keep pressing redial though as the line is always busy!

I remembered I could do telephone booking without speaking to anyone so I tried that and im in Thursday at 6pm. According to their website my midwife should be based on the same road as my work! Winner winner chicken dinner!

broodysnoopstie · 17/06/2014 20:43

woodwaj · 18/06/2014 12:30

Haha broody that made me laugh she asked just before she finished the scan! Id have asked at the end otherwise! I paid 6 quid for 2! I dont use the app I didnt realise you cant see pics!!

Haha it was my finger or my name onelife I figured I chose the right one ;)

broodysnoopstie · 18/06/2014 13:31

Well I'm glad we've got this sorted. From now on I need telling. £6 for 2! are they little print outs? I'd obviously pay for it but £3 each is steep!

OP posts:
woodwaj · 18/06/2014 17:00

Oh its a total rip off!! But like you said you will pay it. Its exactly what you see other people get when they are actually able to show them off! Oh and always take pound coins they only accept then and don’t have change! You put your coins in a machine and you get tickets and you exchange the tickets for your pics.

broodysnoopstie · 18/06/2014 19:07

Wood excellent to know Thank you. Aw how lovely your first scan piccie. I'm very happy for you and not at all jealous

Exciting times for us both xx

woodwaj · 18/06/2014 21:54

We are both on the countdown to the next one now!! I know OH wont pay for a private one! boo!

watching oneborn and worrying about stretchmarks!! Are you going to use something to try prevent them and would you consider it as early as now??

broodysnoopstie · 18/06/2014 23:34

Well I think you could def start now there is certainly no harm but I don't know if there is much you can do really. Either you are genetically predisposed to it or you are lucky and aren't. I think advice is rubbing moisturiser into your belly and anywhere else you get them. (thighs boobs hips etc) I'm very diligent with that anyway as I have psorasis x

I think that's whats going to upset me the most I already only have to look at a cake and get them :(

broodysnoopstie · 19/06/2014 16:44

Sad I don't know what to suggest maybe Google anti stretch Mark cream

woodwaj · 19/06/2014 16:51

Ooh and I updated my boots account online and you get 10 points per £ instead of 4 on baby stuff

broodysnoopstie · 19/06/2014 17:04

I went to the docs when I first found out and I went when I had bleeding and they referred me to epu but I haven't had first midwife app yet I'm still waiting for that.

OP posts:
woodwaj · 19/06/2014 17:10

broodysnoopstie · 19/06/2014 17:32
