...James, surname starts with a B.We like Trad names which could easily be Irish or British(Ma and Pa)

We like celtic names(but nothing too obscure-dh request!)But will prob use one for a middle name.

We've got a girls name lined up if we have a girl in future (Imogen) so that would be a consideration.

Personal perferance would be no names starting with B(or J)

I've drawn a blank(I like Thomas,but that's it)

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 11:02

AHHHH, I have a James B....

Mines the only James in the village!

ahhhh.... I was gonna call next son Thomas.

Quootiepie · 16/08/2006 11:03

Mines James Patrick Theodore... dont nick it!

spinamum · 16/08/2006 13:37

thanks!

So I'm guessing James and Thomas do sound like brothers names, Q. in your opinion.

How did you manage the only James in the village. We've got four of them in the same room at nursery!

Spent my whole first pg stressing that anyone would steal my kids names. Then called him James(love the name, but hardly unique... unless it's your village!)

madmarchhare · 16/08/2006 14:02

EvesMama · 16/08/2006 14:03

Arron or Eiron(sp male version of erin) sounds nice with james?

spinamum · 16/08/2006 14:06

I recognised the quote ,but thought you actually managed to talk every other parent out of using the name! or lived in a lovely small village like the one I grew up in!

I'm going to suggest all the names you have suggested to DH. This naming thing would be easier if there wern't two of you with differant memories of school "friends" and a differant culture to factor in! (Some of my fav names for kids when I was growing up just won't work here.Pity)
