Ahh that's great red that it's worked for you, a full nights sleep makes such a difference!
Glad your doing well twinkle I had a fantastic first pregnancy too, I really miss it, second was good but not as easy as I had it first time plus dd2 hung around a week longer and it that last week I got piles god damit! Pregnancys should definatly only be 37wjs long, after that it starts going wrong!!!i
I've remember that I hate 1 year olds!
However I love 3, dd1 has hit the princess stage, she was a total tom boy, rough and tumble wanted everything boy, I even potty trained her in boys fireman Sam pants, now it's all got to be pink, she won't wear anything that isn't and she loves frozen! It has to be on once a day or we have to listen to the songs in the car which she sings to lol

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 17/06/2014 23:09

kitty my 3 year old is the same, obsessed with Frozen, will only play with girls, obsessed with princesses. It's driving me mad as I'm a complete tomboy.
I got piles too - it was labour that did it for me, all that pushing was bad news.

red well done getting down to one feed, glad the blinds are working for you

twinkle sorry about the back you are allowed to complain hope the heat isn't getting to you too much.

tedmundo · 25/06/2014 14:48

Actually, I love Frozen too. Can I come over to watch it with your girls please?! I am guilty of belting out Let It Go in the kitchen with the boys chirruping along (they prefer fixer upper).

Sorry to not be around much but I do think about you all. L is keeping me VERY busy, constantly trashing my house. Or being in the garden while the weather has been amazing. I have a headache today so won't go out and he is Unimpressed.

Give all those baby cheeks a squeeze from me and Twinkle, rub that tum for luck for me too.

Wee .. Have a 4th, come back and tell me that it is a piece of cake and then I can show your post to DH (and then you can post the truth hah ha!!)

RedRobin1 · 26/06/2014 22:04

I haven't seen Frozen Blush .....yet!

DD has been teething and god knows what has gotten into that sweet lovely baby of mine! She's turned into grumpy angry baby and is quite literally throwing her toys out of the pram! She's 5.5 months and started fighting day time naps and gets stuck while she rolls for England (perhaps not England!) on the playmat and I have to go put her on her back or she screams bloody murder!

Come 7.30pm I am so exhausted these days and my fav part as she is fast asleep! Please tell me it's gets easier Confused I do love her but god it's so good when she's asleep!!!!

One of my friends told me the other day she hadn't even heard of Frozen! My response .. 'Do you live in a cave?!' ;)

Red .. Tis a tricky age. Sitting up and indeed crawling makes their lives much more interesting and yours more bearable. DH loves 5 months as a stage. I prefer 18 months + when they start talking.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 02/07/2014 20:38

Hasn't seen Frozen? Definitely lives in a cave.

My dd has spent half the day dressed as Elsa.

red I feel your pain re the rolling, both of mine would roll over and then scream to be but on their backs again. As soon as I righted them they just rolled onto their stomachs again and started screaming again.

It's so annoying and teething sucks.

Ds is eight months old. In the past two weeks he has suddenly learn to crawl, get from stomach to sitting, pull himself up and cruise. He's so pleased with himself.

kittykatsforever · 03/07/2014 10:26

When my little one is princess anna lol I have the outfit but she hasn't had it yet, it's surposed to be for her bday but she has the boots which she wears lol you must be a very clever mummy to get hold on the elsa outfit, it's sold out constantly isn't it, I have both the singing dolls for her too, I will post your pic when she gets her pressies but everything is frozen including balloons
I'd like to say it gets easier red but to me while they can't move is such a joy, I'm in the midst of my least favourite age of 1, she can't walk yet but can climb! My god can she climb, the break/ trash / distroyeverything and hurt themselves constantly, I agree with ted though 18+ months is when it starts to get better

RedRobin1 · 03/07/2014 14:30

I think I do live in a cave then! I still haven't seen it :-/

Dd is getting faster and quicker with rolling and seems to move at lightning speed when she wants to! However it hasn't made nap times any easier I have to now trap her in a corner to get her to nap in the cot otherwise she keeps rolling and moaning about being on her front. The corner position seems to work as she has nowhere to go (mean Mummy!) I love seeing all the changes in her though. It's such exciting milestones now and I keep feeling amazed and proud at how fast she seems to be learning and developing.

Twinkle how are you doing? Not long now! Excited? Nervous? Hope you are resting and on mat leave now.

Kitty, when, ted, wee - love reading about your little ones! It's so good to see them grow and change :)

kittykatsforever · 03/07/2014 20:06

Ahhh red there will be atleast a year or two till dd interested in disneys, don't worry you'll get to know them all Wink
The corner trick sounds ingenious lol I was lucky and dd2 slepton her tummy anyway so was happy for naps , dd1 didn't roll till 8 months

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 03/07/2014 20:30

kitty is right red once your dd starts watching TV you will see everything Disney has to offer. Frozen was a blessed relief to me, until then she made me watch Alvin and the Chipmunks every day for 3 months three long painful months

I love your jamming her in a corner solution - inspired

kitty it was a nightmare getting that dress. Dh checked the Asda website everyday for weeks. Finally they got new stock in but we still had to wait 3 weeks for delivery (it was only £12.50 though, total bargain)

twinkle you still out there? How have you coped with the heat, pregnancy and heat do not go well together IMO

kittykatsforever · 03/07/2014 21:38

Wow when, i didn't even know asda did one, I've got the disney dress but it cost £30, that was the cheeper version though, they did one at £60Shock I've been on the disney website every bloody day! I've managed to get lots though and the singing elsa and anna which are really good, so tempting to eBay them though, they sold out after an hour and are online for £60 they were £25 each, I tell you I won't be showing her a new movie again!!
She better still like it in august for her bday, I've told dh not to let her watch anything else lol we have a frozen party in 2 weeks though so ill post ma pic of her all dressed up he he she does look abit like a little anna, she keeps showing me her white bit in her hair ( it's blonde at the front) Smile
Shed have loved to play with your dd!!

RedRobin1 · 04/07/2014 11:29

Hahaha when Theodore is my fav chipmunk but I don't think I could watch it every day for 3 months heheee your dd is funny!

kitty I might try and look around for the Disney dolls as it's my nieces birthday and she's so into Frozen!

Also you girls seen the loom bands? Apparently every girl I have seen so far wears one! Went to a posh coffee shop and even they were selling these bands next to coffees.

Looking forward to the pic of your dd kitty I will post one of mine soon!

OP posts:
RedRobin1 · 04/07/2014 22:45

I have just uploaded a picture of dd - my first MN pic!

We were trying on some headbands on her for the first time - poor thing has no idea they are on her head Smile

OP posts:
weechops · 05/07/2014 21:51

Red shes's bloomin' adorable!! I want another girl so I can dress her up all frilly and pretty :) 7 year old has her own fashion sense now! And loom bands? God they're everywhere in my house. I'm hopeless at them but dd is getting really good!
Well I have news of a sort - you all know my dh works away, usually 2 weeks at a time. Remember me going nuts trying to time ov around his off dates? Well imagine missing 3 months worth at a time! Yes the git will be working 12 weeks on/ 2 weeks off!!! Far away (14hours) starting in the new year. Hoping that if (when) we ttc again he's actually here!

twinklestar2 · 08/07/2014 14:57

Aw red your daughter is so cute!!

Sorry for not being around much! I'm on maternity leave now, it started on Friday. Started to get uncomfortable last week and had to go to hospital last week cause of sharp pains so think I went on leave at the right time.

Soooo exciting that baby will be here in the next few weeks!

Any tips for the birth? I've been doing lazy daisy birthing classes, read Childbirth Without Fear, been listening to my hypnobirthing CD and read loads on childbirth!! Anything else?!?!

RedRobin1 · 08/07/2014 16:37

Thanks I'm totally in love with her Smile

Hugs wee that's really a long time...12 weeks seems like a year when it comes to ttc doesn't it! Hope he can time it right Smile Sorry for not remembering but does he work out of the country? If in the UK perhaps you could go meet him around OV time Wink

twinkle just go with the flow when it comes to birth! Wow are you counting the days now? Hope you are not in too much pain...baby twinkle so excited to hear when you arrive! How is DH doing? I remember mine was just pacing aimlessly waiting for the baby to come in the final weeks (honestly did my head in!) he would literally ask me every day if the baby was on its way today, as if I had a clue!

Hello, just a quick stop to say I haven't forgotten about all of BFP buddies - I'll catch up tomorrow on your posts and update you, I've been on holiday and busy enjoying every minute of S being 7 months. She's just so lovely and happy Grin

tedmundo · 11/07/2014 14:14

Alex .. Didn't you go somewhere that will make me sigh with envy?! Hope you had a good time!

Twinkle .. I had very medical births so all those things you mention made me smile! Million miles away from my drug induced state. But, the end result is the same so who cares how you get there! Take your own squash in. Hospitals are super hot and you need to drink loads. That's my top tip! Oh, and if you have an expensive mattress, buy some toddler night training mats to put underneath you In case your waters break in bed.

At the school summer concert last week, a group of year 4s sang Let It Go. Badly. My buttocks have still not unclench end from the agony of it. I was WILLING them to hit the notes (they didn't).

Red .. She is gorgeous. Such a lovely age! And yes, loom bands are scattered like confetti all over my house. The older one loves them passionately. He sits with the girls at break time, looming to his hearts content!

I am very proud of him as we got his yr2 sats results yesterday and he got level 3 in everything. He chose a lego set as his well done gift. Ds2 chose ANOTHER build a bear .. Because apparently 3 isn't enough, ggrrrrr!

Kitty .. I think you are safe that frozen will still be en vogue in August .. It isn't going anywhere!

Wee... Ok, you have given me 'nam like flashbacks talking about ttc and opks. Where has the time gone!? your DHs shifts suck :( sorry the timings are so off.

kittykatsforever · 11/07/2014 20:45

Red- oh my goodness she is gorgeous!!! Cutey pie indeed
Wee - oh ny goodness that sucks, I do remember the FTC where he wasn't there at the right times, are you giving it serious consideration for a fourth already.? My dd1 won't let me dress her up already and she's only just coming up to 3, she will only wear pink but even if I try and pick a pink thing out she describes something else she wants to wear, little Madame
Ted- you always make me laugh, your boys sound so cute, I love the build a bear obsession he he
Winkle - how far are you now, I can't give you birth advise, my answer is just go straight for the epidural lol not hypno birth for meWink
Can I make you jealous with my just booked Holliday news?!?!

twinklestar2 · 15/07/2014 10:52

Hi everyone

36 and a half weeks so not long to go!

Having so many sleepless nights, it's a good thing I'm on mat leave! The baby squirms so much and my back is killing me!! Didn't fall asleep till 4am!

Had my first Braxton Hicks yesterday!!

tedmundo · 16/07/2014 13:05

Wow twinkle. So, so close to the end.

Please come back and give us your birth story when you announce his / her arrival. And did I miss the BFP story?! It may have been when I took a break from MN? If I did, please repost it! I do love a BFP story!

Apart from checking on this thread, I am staying off MN again for a while. It can be such fun, but not so much right now! So there may be gaps in my postings, but I will be checking in I promise!

Twinklestar2 · 16/07/2014 13:51

Hi ted

I found the old thread and am reposting my BFP announcement below. You did congratulate me at the time!

Hello everyone,

Room for a little (but hoping to be big in 9 months time) one?!

Yep that's right I FINALLY got my BFP! My frozen cycle worked and I'm so grateful every single day. We found out last Tuesday, we were both so shocked as I truly didn't believe it was going to work and was frantically trying to save money for another go in the new year.

On the Saturday before I started bleeding so I thought it was over. Both hub and I were so down, crying, etc, but then it was only brown blood when I wiped and it was on and off. I had never had that before so I started to feel hopeful although OH was convinced it hadn't work. We were so convinced that it was going to be negative that I tested and left the test on the side and went back to it! Nearly fell off the loo when I saw two lines!!

Red has been keeping me company up until now and I've been so frightened to post in case I jinx it but I saw 3+ on the digi yesterday and I'm starting to feel more relaxed about it and I couldn't WAIT to tell you all!

So here I am! I DID get my BFP in 2013 even if it did sneak in right at the end

kittykatsforever · 16/07/2014 21:43

Oh winkle Smile it brings it all back and it's full circle! I can't wait for your new arrival anouncement too

Twinklestar2 · 16/07/2014 22:14

Thanks kitty :) Shouldn't be too long now, only a few weeks to go!

tedmundo · 17/07/2014 13:26

Wow! I am glad I asked as that is such a great story. Tell me you spent the treatment savings on cool baby stuff?!? ;)

Ok, so just the birth story to come now.... No pressure but do hurry up. I love a good birth yarn!
