Right - have dusted down stairs, cleaned our front walls (cillit bang is amazing stuff!) to the property and weeded - and still Bean is determinedly staying put. Off to go sort out the Bean corner off our bedroom shortly.
Abzs - the autocorrect on my nexus will be the undoing of me! I meant to say COOLING THE BEDROOM as much as possible. Fortunately on the pc now so any gobbledegook I come out with is all my own... Anyway, glad it amused you. Are you home now? Hope Small is co-operating now.
Vinegar - glad you got some more sleep and definitely do head to the lido. Its lovely feeling relatively weightless in the water. Though I do admit to feel abit like a hippo wallowing in the river in the serpentine yesterday. Made me feel better to at least think that the pedaloes passing by were bigger than me
Icing - hope you avoid the bug. Agree with all the advice above. If at all possible, I'd have DP using a different bathroom to you too and keep towels/cups/eating utensils etc separate.
Cheek - no idea as to when DOC is due - think its mid July some time. Also no idea as to how the hospital imagine other people in labour/needing A&E or pick ups or visiting family are meant to cope - the midwives were the ones advising the hourly parking bays when I went in for my 38 week check so they clearly werent kept in the loop. We were planning on driving - as its free parking over night and extortionate hourly rates during the day normally, and I have no desire to freak out a taxi driver with my mooing noises in labour.
Ohgood- and all those with babies already, feel free to stay on here. On other antenatal threads I've been on, we've tended to all stay on the antenatal thread until most people have popped (while nearly 20 are out, there's over 60 to go!) then shift en masse to the post natal threads.
BigBelly - thanks for sharing your birth story. Glad it was a quick birth despite the scary moments and I hope you had a lovely night at home with Constance and life as a family of 6 is going well.
Waves - hope you get some rest today. A bump cast sounds lovely.
