Hope you're enjoying lovely baby snuggles now Smile

McKayz · 20/06/2012 05:00

Rosalie Jean was born at 1:08am. She weighs 9lb 6.5oz.

So how do I put her down and go and wee and sleep? Grin

elliebug · 20/06/2012 05:24

Yay congratulations Grin love the name. I have no idea how you put babies down, mine has been awake ages, yawn! Just enjoy the cuddles Smile and have a Biscuit

MammaInTheMaking · 20/06/2012 05:30

Congratulations McKayz!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoop whoop for Rosalie. So you were right that she'd come a smidge before your EDD Smile

Davinaaddict · 20/06/2012 05:34

Congratulations! ThanksBearGrin A lovely name too Smile No chance of either a timely wee or a sleep for a couple of months I'm afraid! Or certainly until DH is home Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/06/2012 07:33

Hooray! GrinGrinGrin congratulations mckayz! GrinGrinGrin Bear welcome to Rosalie! I hope you've had some snuggley sleep! Was she born in the water?

ghosteditor · 20/06/2012 08:45

Congratulations! GrinGrinGrin

Rosalie is a beautiful name - big fan! And what a great size! Hope it was easy and fast and lovely. Did you ever get that wee? Grin

McKayz · 20/06/2012 08:48

Yes she was born in the water. I'll do a proper story soon but I have no tearing and apparently minimal bruising.

I did get my weeGrin. I put her in the Moses basket and she cried while I ran to the toilet.

ghosteditor · 20/06/2012 08:51

That's wonderful mckayz - I'm envious of your lovely birth Smile

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/06/2012 09:00

Sounds fab! Looking forward to the full story! Smile

Davinaaddict · 20/06/2012 10:35

Fantastic! I love a good birth story Grin

So has anyone heard of Infacol causing drowsiness? I know it sounds a silly question, but Lauren's been really windy in an evening (bouts of crying, knees up to her ears, that sort of thing). I've still not been able to get any gripe water as nowhere has it stock when I remember to look for it. The Ashton's & Parsons have helped a bit but not enough to clear it. So I thought I'd give Infacol a go as it was reduced Now I thought we'd been doing really well with the nights in that after her feed at 10/11 she'd only be up at 3 then 7. Last night she went from half 11to half 4 then til half 9 this morning! Shock The only thing we did different was the Infacol, so ring the neurotic worrier I am, I'm worried it's a side effect so maybe I should stop giving it to her? Although it shouldn't have any aide effects as its mot absorbed by the body - so confused! What do you ladies think?Grin

Davinaaddict · 20/06/2012 10:36

God sorry that sounds a bit like a stealth boast! Blush That wasn't the intention Confused

foolserrand · 20/06/2012 11:12

Mckayz :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

Sounds wonderful and I love Rosalie! Congratulations! Do your boys like her?

Davina, it doesn't sound like a stealth boast at all. Thrilled she's sleeping so well for you. Have no idea about the infacol sorry but maybe keep using it just in case!

Trouble, did you get my pm? Didn't want my name on the thread. You never know who's lurking!

We had our 6 week check at 8.50 this morning. Don't know who thought that was a good time for me to bring in a newborn and a toddler but we actually made it! Felicity is thriving, but I knew that already! :o

I had an awful night last night. Ds has decided he no longer needs his night time pull ups. Only managed 1 dry night out of 3 so far. :( He'll get it soon, I'm sure. But he did end up in our room, demanding to sleep on mummy like Felicity was (she'd just been fed). That was fun! Have grabbed myself a lucozade for if when I start flagging today.

We are now going to attempt cookies as ds wants to try out his new cutters. Oh what fun!

Davinaaddict · 20/06/2012 11:32

Glad to hear Fliss is doing so well Smile Enjoy the cookies!

elliebug · 20/06/2012 12:49

Davina, jake has been on max dose infacol for ages, I wish it made him sleepy Grin after mega vomit yest am I didn't put him straight down after his 4am feed, big mistake, he thought it was playtime and was awake till 630!!! Ugh, he still vomited sitting up Sad am off to look round a nursery Hmm hope you are all enjoying the sunshine

Davinaaddict · 20/06/2012 12:49

I seem to be losing the plot! I've been telling everyone Lauren's 10 weeks but she's going to be 12 weeks tomorrow! Blush Oh dear....

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/06/2012 13:36

davina is the infacol helping with her fussiness whilst being fed? If so then your answer may be that she is feeding better-getting more milk (as not having to keep stopping to scream) and is therefore sleeping better! I have a spare bottle of gripe water I can send you if you want it but sounds like the infacol is doing the job?Smile
Yes fools, got it, started a game with you and it said you resigned...I'll try again! Grin fab news re Fliss, she sounds like such a little treasure! Did you ever find those pesky cars? Save me some cookies!Grin
Sad ellie that sounds like really hard work..can the doctors do any allergy testing on Jacob?Smile

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/06/2012 13:54

Mine says it's your turn fools!

foolserrand · 20/06/2012 14:51

Not now it isnt! :o

Davinaaddict · 20/06/2012 15:01

Thanks so much for the offer Trouble, that's really kind Smile She was not particularly fussy at the start if her feeds, only when she's had enough of each boob Grin She still does that now. But I think it's been a bit of a shock coming off the shields, as she gets the milk much quicker. My let down is a bit quick for her so she gulps lots Blush But she's not pulling her legs up like she was and generally seems much happier so I think we'll keep going with the Infacol and see how we get on.

So I've just been out for a lovely walk - right up until I got home. I said earlier I was losing the plot, now I know it's true! Blush Not only did I leave the back door ajar with the keys in the door (on the inside), but I realised as I got home that my keys were still in the front door Shock I'd set the alarm, locked the door then got distracted by my neighbour and left them there!!!! ShockShockShockShock And to top it off, my car key is also on my key ring! Luckily the car is still on the drive but what an idiot!Angry I'm going to go for a lie down now, I think Blush

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/06/2012 15:04

Grin davina! I've done the back door ajar with the keys on the inside twice so far! Blush

foolserrand · 20/06/2012 15:22

Davina, I always do this! Always have.Blush The secret is to get a scary looking dog to leave in the house. Then it won't matter! I have two, you can have one if you like :o nb, this only works until people realise they're pathetic softies!

Davinaaddict · 20/06/2012 15:32

Glad I'm not the only one Grin Dogs are a no go for me because of allergies unfortunately. I'm just glad the kids were still in school so it was quiet Grin

elliebug · 20/06/2012 15:46

Trouble am waiting for a hosp appt so will see what they say, am wondering if it's refluxSad new problem is he's constipated, normally we get 2/3 poos a day, none for over 24 hours now, he keeps trying but only manages really smelly fartsBlush have been giving him water but no result yet, if it's not one thing it's another, was hoping he wouldn't take after me in the living at the dr department! Oh well Smile

elliebug · 20/06/2012 15:47

Oh and there is loads of gripe water here can send if needed and nelsons teething powders, was it someone here who wanted them Confused
