bigboobs I have my 34 weeks scan on Wed too! I have been given a 'final' date of 1st May but might be induced the week before ... but then they might come before then anyway :)
dream I hope you are enjoying your gorgeous boys and getting some rest.
Happy easter to all you other ladies, bumps & babies!
xxx

goingmadtrying · 08/04/2012 04:58

good luck with your scans bigboobs and scollister wow 34 weeks not long now the end is in sight, or is that the beginning lol :)

desiren i too am having identical and my brother same up with the idea of hoodies with theire name on the back, they would gte a bit grubby though!!! im hoping it just comes to us Hmm

waves to the ladies who have have their babies hope everything is going well with you all :)

i am having coffee and toast as i have fallen out with myself, could really do with being asleep and for the last couple of nights just can't seem to drop off properly :( tonight keep waking myself up thinking about work, however is the same bloody thought and actually isn't real unless its subconscious and just hasn't happened yet! I've given up and come downstairs in the hope that a coffee will break the thought pattern and i can get some sleep, realised when i got down i was starving so hence the toast, t1 is really moving around now so hope i haven't taught her its morning time lol been feeling rough for a couple of days my bump feels sore as does my sides and my Minnie moo is also aching, im hoping its all just stretching, seem to exploded outwards this week :( sort for the moany post just feeling fed up as so want to be in bed and my ds,s Will be up before i know it,Dh let me go back to bed yesterday morning but it really isn't the same :(

BB3 · 08/04/2012 05:48

Oh scollister you too - 6 more babies on their way soon!!

BB3 · 08/04/2012 05:50

Goingmad probably just stretching, I used to get throbbing in my mini moo area too.

What Is bugging you about work? I really, really want coffee and toast now....Wink

BB3 · 08/04/2012 05:55

Oh and when the girls were born I got then mixed up at the hospitalBlush (they were near enough identical - luckily their results were the same), I was tempted to paint a nail on one of them to know but you soon get too learn little things to tell them apart and now to me they're miles different but strangers always tell me they look identical. I'm sure once they're here you'll be fine x

bigboobsatlast · 08/04/2012 08:25

desiren scollister and me at the same stage? looks like it! can I ask what your due dates are and what dates you have been given for cs or induction? Not long for us now!

mine id - I am just going to leave hosp id tags on for a while!

hope you managed to get back to sleep going.

bb3 , I am near southampton.

BB3 · 08/04/2012 11:00

Oh I'm the other side of Salisbury so not far at all, my dsis her dh and my dn live in Southampton - apparently it's a very good hospital for babies x

Desiren · 08/04/2012 11:10

Boobs my official due date is 13/05/2012 but I consultant has said no go beyond 37 weeks which will be 22/04/2012. I first I was thinking I'm keeping them in as long as possible but I'm in so much pain now and so uncomfortable I'm willing to go with his expert decision. [bugrin]

bigboobsatlast · 08/04/2012 13:03

Just before me then Desiren - my due date is 25.03.12 but have been told all along not going past 36 weeks, until last scan when he said he might 'let me' go to 37 weeks. So 2 or 3 weeks to go - and you have 1 or 2! I feel the same, don't want them to come along just yet as too early - but at the same time I am no good to anyone at the moment and so uncomfortable. I will see what he says at scan on weds.

BB3, I actually come under Winchester hospital as not actually in Southampton. I was very near Salisbury yesterday seeing some friends (Downton). weird to think we are so close!

Hope everyone is enjoying their easter. DH has just left taking DD to to Zoo. I should just put my feet up but the house is a mess so think I will do just a little bit of tidying first! I can't help it - I keep thinking this might be my last chance!

Had lots of BH over the last couple of days, no pain just uncomfortable. Hope its not a sign the boys are coming too soon!

scollister · 08/04/2012 23:04

bigboobs and disiren my EDD is 19/05/12. The consultant originally agreed to 38 weeks max (MCDA) provided everything progressed smoothly, making the date 5.05.12. I have developed obstretric cholestasis which is making him a bit less lenient now, so the I can a c-section booked for 1st May, but will go in week before to be examined (cringe) and decide whether to go for 1 induction / break waters - I had awful failed induction with DD1 so not that keen to be honest, especially as it comes with the risk of rupturing an existing c-section scar.
I'm hoping they come on their own before 1st May ... but not too early!

I'm feeling absolutely huge and very uncomfortable (I'm only 5'2") and last night ended up having a bath for an hour at about 3h30am as the Braxton Hicks are quite painful this week - and accompanied by some back pain which made me slightly paranoid :O

Hope all you ladies have had a lovely Easter weekend and several opportunities to put your feet up! xxx

scollister · 08/04/2012 23:04

Oops, sorry for the misspelling desiren! Blush

bigboobsatlast · 09/04/2012 07:08

We are all so close and all mcda! Just realised I put my effort wrong - its actually 25th may!

I was up twice in the night with dd last night. She recently learnt how to say something itches or is sore - now everything is sore or itches! Last night she needed me because she had a sore neck and a sore back and then an itchy arm! I am sure she actually had none of this but of course I still have to rub better before she goes back to sleep! Another phase!!

Hope everyone is getting some rest this long weekend. I have had lots of rest but done nothing round the house. It really gets to me that I can't just potter and get things done. So frustrating, ended up in tears about it last night. How ridiculous! Me resting is more important and dh is being fab looking after dd as well as doing all essential housework! Oh well, not long now.

Thinking of you dream.

BB3 · 10/04/2012 08:54

Are you all off having babies or just lovely long weekends?

Dream hope you're ok lovely xxx

claireinmodena · 10/04/2012 10:09

Hi BB3

not much movement here, must mean everybody enjoying the long weekend!

I'm still at my mums, dh went back last night, and I had a horrible night with the dts. Awake and unhappy from 8pm til well past 1am, then waking every 2 1/2 hrs always together! Couldnt be bothered to get up and makd bottles so I was feeding the loudest ond first, thrn thd other than finish off first, etc etc. i am shattered, sok need to sort out theur sleep when we get home tomorrow, any advice very welcome! They are 9 weeks tomorrow, where did that time go???

Hope you are all well, especislly tge new mummiesdream and skitoo are you home yet?

Good luck to all those who have sczns this week!

bigboobsatlast · 10/04/2012 11:03

9 weeks clare? can't believe it! you must be exhausted. Being away from home is never easy in my experience - especially if dh not there. when do you go home?

I think i am in denial about sleep - trying to convince myself it will all be fine! in reality I know it is going to be so hard -2 babies and a 2yo that wakes usually twice every night! oh well!

it is very quiet on here. hope everyone is ok? will try and get a bump photo on here lalater to give everyone a laugh!

goingmadtrying · 10/04/2012 14:20

hello ladies wow 9 weeks Claire that's amazing its gone so quick :)

hope your home and settled dream and skitoo

soon be your time bigboobs i know what you mean about sleep my nearly 4yo still wakes at least once a night, and likes me to settle him

hello to everyone else, im feeling slightly guilty this week i promised dh that i wouldnt go over the top with this baby when first pg however can honestly say I've brought loads !!!! i feel far to organised as just about finished but this scares me as i think ill keep going Blush in my defence have brought things in sales and on offer Grin

im a little worried about movement today, when i had scan last week both were laying with head down and feet under ribs so was feeling movement on both sides, one was quieter than the other but movement, however over last couple of days movements really only on one side but at top and bottom??? Hmm do you think they could have moved across ways? don't want to cause a scene unnecessarily

BB3 · 10/04/2012 17:03

Bigboobs - if you're worried get checked. You won't be causing a scene. An hour at the hospital is better than a day of worrying.

BB3 · 10/04/2012 17:04

Goingmad -sorry in my defence I've literally been talking to my pg colleague about big boobs and then read the two posts!

baileyslover · 10/04/2012 22:56

Hiya guys, had weekend of working, and sleeping, but have lurked to keep up with everyone.

going if you are still concerned re low movements them I would definately get checked out, otherwise the worry will just stress you out.

Had standard midwife appointment today. Seemed to spend the majority of it trying to sort paperwork as apparently I now have the wrong hospital notes for Swindon, as pre triplet news I was planning on going to a local birthing centre who run different notes to Swindon AND Oxford, so I now have 3 sets of notes Wink Good news is that she found all 3 heartbeats with her Doppler, the first time I have actually heard them Smile

Spent the rest of the day looking at MPV's with DH. Fell in love with new VW Sharan/Seat Alhambra but clearly out of our price bracket. The space, the sliding doors [sigh] will need to scour the market for a second hand one of less than a year old......
BB3 consultant wants them out at 32 weeks as she feels this is 'term' for triplets, and after that the placentas degrade, but that doesn't explain why NICE guidelines clearly state 34/35 weeks and Oxford were happy with that timing. A battle to have closer to the date me thinks.

Hope all new babies are settled and Claire your guys let you have a bit more sleep tonight. X

galaxymummy · 10/04/2012 23:03

Hi Baileys
I know someone under mr impey in oxford had triplets at 35 weeks he is the twins and triplets specialist ask to see him. are you living oxford swindon or in between??
g

claireinmodena · 11/04/2012 05:03

Hi baileys Smile for hearing heartbeats!!

And yes we had a better night, they were actually asleep before midnight (I think, took them to bed with me around 10 and then not sure when we all actually fell asleep, but it did involve a fair amount of feeding/crying/sucking on my fingers - they refuse dummies-) but then they both slept til FIVE AM GrinGrinGrinGrin

bigboobsatlast · 11/04/2012 07:54

a slightly better night then Claire!! Do you have chance to have a break during the day? Or is that crazy talk?!
Fab news Baileys re heart beats - it must hve been brilliant to hear all three - and midwife did well! I am sure you could do without all the faffing about different notes - hope its all sorted now. Definitely question timing of delivery of the babies, but if your doc is anything like mine he / she wont really wont want to discuss this in detail until much further down the line. At 34 weeks I still dont know when I am having these babies!

Hows the movement Going? and reassuring kicks and turns?

For some reason I am way more excited / nervous about my scan this afternoon than usual - I think it must be becasue I am so nearly there - so close to meeting babies, but also have everything to lose - if you know what I mean? kept me awake last night running through my heasd when I last felt twin 2 on the right move (the quieter one). Got myself in a right tiz! Lets hope the scan this afternoon puts my mind at rest and gives me a bloody date for meeting them

Getting a bit worried about Dreams silence - I am sure she has better things to do than post here but just want to know her and family are all doing well.

goingmadtrying · 11/04/2012 09:37

no worries bb3 i know you meant me lol

thank you everyone, no real movements on left side, im just wondering if they've moved round as feeling lots of movements on right Hmm may give them a call in a while see what they think, can one baby survive if something happens to the other??
glad you had a better night Claire :)

my consultant has been the same about not speaking about delivery although do know they'll be delivered week 36 @ the latest i would think they should follow nice guidelines though unless there is something else they are worried about??

i too im a bit worried by overall silence from new mummies just hoping there very busy?? which of course they would be :) that's one thing i don't like about mn we become virtual friends but have no contact if worried sending everyone lots of love :)

goingmadtrying · 11/04/2012 09:40

good luck at your scan bigboobs let us know your date :)
