Well, baby bez is finally here.

Thank god i had a lovely independent midwife so was able to avoid induction, altho i must admit in the end i was half hoping i would be "made" to have an induction as i was so fed up.

at 43 weeks and 4 days baby Leon finally arrived, weighing 8lb 2 after an hour of contractions.

So after being terrified of the pain and starting the pain of childbirth thread, panicking I wouldnt cope without an epidural, I had a completely natural birth, delivering leon on my own as there was no time to get assistance and dp was out and I did nothing for the pain but scream!

I'll second that blimey and well done, don't know what else to say exept that you're the 1st person I've ever heard of who realy did give birth on their own. Well done you and what a star!

Also lovely name, Leon.
