I have been asked to let you all know some really horribly sad news......

That on Monday 24th August at approximately 6pm TrinityRhino's wonderful husband was killed in a car crash.

He was working near Biggar in Scotland and was on his way home when his van and a 17-5 ton lorry collided.

Thankfully he was killed instantly and did not suffer although as you will all understand the family's suffering is on going

As many of you will know Trinity and I are really close friends and I feel as if my heart has been ripped out and have only now felt I was strong enough to post this for her (I wouldn't post without her permission) and can only imagine how she and her 3 little girls and her 2 stepsons are feeling

The world is most definately a worse place for the loss of this wonderful husband, dad & friend.

Oh Trinity, I've just seen this - I'm so so sorry . I don't know what else to say, just that I'm thinking of you, the girls and your stepsons.

My friend was widowed very suddenly last year and she found this website really useful:

There is a guide which I printed off and sent to her, she read it every night for a month. They also have a chat forum. My friend said that knowing other people had got through it and understood how she was feeling was a real help.
