I have been asked to let you all know some really horribly sad news......

That on Monday 24th August at approximately 6pm TrinityRhino's wonderful husband was killed in a car crash.

He was working near Biggar in Scotland and was on his way home when his van and a 17-5 ton lorry collided.

Thankfully he was killed instantly and did not suffer although as you will all understand the family's suffering is on going

As many of you will know Trinity and I are really close friends and I feel as if my heart has been ripped out and have only now felt I was strong enough to post this for her (I wouldn't post without her permission) and can only imagine how she and her 3 little girls and her 2 stepsons are feeling

The world is most definately a worse place for the loss of this wonderful husband, dad & friend.

I am so sorry to hear this. Maybe in the long run they will be able to feel grateful that he died suddenly and didn't have to suffer a long illness (this was something that helped me when my dad died suddenly when I was 18).

It is going to be tough for you all - be kind to each other and cry when you need to - it helps.
