PREGNANT AFTER STILLBIRTH

I have just found out that I am pregnant, my daughter was stillborn in December and although there was no reason for her death I am so worried that it is going to happen again.

I'm very sorry about your loss. It's a terrible thing to go through.
My circumstances are different to yours in that I already had 2 children when I lost my daughter. However, after she died I was fixated with becoming pregnant again. Even though I knew I couldn't replace her, I felt that I needed to get my life back on the track I set out to follow. I spent every day dreaming about being in a delivery room and handed a live baby

Maybe waiting longer would have made this pregnancy less traumatic for me - I don't know.
From a physical point of view, I do wish that I had got myself into better shape for this pregnancy. By the time this baby is born I will have spent the last 19 months pregnant, with a 6 month gap in the middle, and my grey hairs and wrinkles have multiplied! And I lost my baby at 19 weeks so the physical effects were, I'm sure, nowhere near as great as yours or Beag's.

I included a link earlier in this thread to an organisation called Foresight, which advises on pre-conceptual care. I didn't follow their programme but I know people who have and speak very highly of it.

I feel the same as you beag,I think about nothing else and it really is all i want right now..ofcourse i'll wait till my checks and until i know i am physically better,but i will start trying straight away..life is too shot..you must know that too after eight years of trying...my mum died when i was 18 too,and certain things like that just make you want to be a mum yourself,and as soon as you can..good luck with everything..s.x

Sorry if TMI but need to talk. I am 7 weeks pregnant but keep getiing tiny smudges of blood. To be honest its most days once. Mostlt pinkish stain, sometimes brown sometimes a red bit. Only when I wipe. M/C in November after 4 healthy preganancies. Any one experienced this with either outcome?
