Oh MB, been posting on some of the same threads but didn't know about your dh. How you've remained so gracious, witty & strong, I don't know, I'm in awe. So very sorry and hope all goes well for you and your family tomorrow.

I must have missed the sad news, having been away for the weekend. I am so sorry-my thoughts will be with you tomorrow.

Soapbox · 01/07/2008 21:53

MB - I hope that in amongst the sadness of tomorrow you and your children find a moment or two to celebrate the life and love of a good man!

Not many people are lucky enough to be loved by someone like your husband and I hope that you can take some strength from that tomorrow.

I'll be thinking of you all!

flossish · 01/07/2008 22:21

Oh MB I am so very sorry. I came on to see how things were with you and am sorry to see this. I hope tomorrow is all that you hope it can be, and that it is a fitting send of to a very loved and by all accounts very lovely man. You don't need me to tell you how amazingly well he has done and I really hope that the last few months have brought you some lovely memories together to treasure forever. My thoughts are with you. xxx

2shoes · 01/07/2008 22:22

I'm going to do the eulogy. I've got it down to 7 minutes, which is quite something for a verbose Welsh woman. I have it on paper in case I fall apart, and someone else will read it if need be. But I think that I can do it

MrsWeasley · 01/07/2008 23:06

Will be thinking of you and will raise a cup in your DS's honour.

Take care
xx

BetteNoire · 01/07/2008 23:08

Do it if you can, MB.
And if you can't, it will still be your words and sentiments, no matter who reads it.
Wishing you strength for tomorrow.
xx

sphil · 01/07/2008 23:08

Well if the eulogy is half as articulate as your posts on here it'll be wonderful. Will be thinking of you and will raise a mug tomorrow at 1.10.

northender · 01/07/2008 23:11

A friend of mine died and her dh did the eulogy. It was the bravest most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Wishing you and the dc the strength you all need.
