It looks like an instrument of torture!

nooka · 18/01/2009 01:55

Hang your baby up whilst you wee! I can sort of understand the concept, but can you imagine attempting to get your baby into the device whilst needing to wee?

DragonLowFatSpread · 18/01/2009 01:59

i'd forget the baby and leave it in the toilet or something.

foxytocin · 18/01/2009 03:45

seen it once before. on mumsnet. rofl.

for that price, it will be rubbish.

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 18/01/2009 03:53

LOl dragon.

I could actually do with one of those, dd2 is Houdini in disguise I am sure of it. One of those might keep her comntained long enough for me to go to the loo.

georgimama · 18/01/2009 06:21

they have those wall mounted seats to put babies in in the loos at Ikea.

waspriceyp · 18/01/2009 07:24

Pmsl! I have quite perfected the art of going for a wee whilst wearing a front baby carrier. It's not as stylish as hanging your baby up on a loo door though

petrovia · 18/01/2009 08:00

In the time it would take you to employ that item you would either have wet yourself or been able to find a registered childminder in the neighbourhood.

cmotdibbler · 18/01/2009 10:34

If you use a carrier (front or back), and wear a skirt you can easily use the loo whilst wearing them without that bizarre contraption

mynewnickname · 18/01/2009 11:29

Ah yes that was mentioned in this the other day

FfreckleFface · 18/01/2009 13:13

That's mental. Absolutely mental. ROFL at the look on the poor child's face at being hung off the back of a door.

Ledodgy · 18/01/2009 13:18

Ok the hanging thing is a bit bizarre but the other features seem quite useful.

DesperateHousewifeToo · 18/01/2009 13:21

It's great would save us all buying any pictures to put on the walls.

''Live-Art''

MrsWeasley · 18/01/2009 13:23

LOL at "live art" Excellent

treedelivery · 18/01/2009 13:29

When in the public loo do you not just hang them off the hook by the tag on the baby grow or by stap of dungarees?

Oh...........

mynewnickname · 18/01/2009 16:18

Here is an even worse one (imho) ....

www.pregnancystore.com/zaky.htm

It's spooky!

Haribolicious · 18/01/2009 16:38

Weird mynewnickname! but I suppose it's the same principle as putting a rolled up towel or blanket next to baby (that was the advice from my mum anyway )

JackBauer · 18/01/2009 16:44

can kind of see the point for that freaky hand thing, but it just looks like weeeeeiiiird.

And have roffled at that 'baby hanging' thing before, although would be hysterical to freak out MIL with....

DesperateHousewifeToo · 18/01/2009 18:18

What were the people on who designed these and actually thought they would sell?

Must have been a wild night.

MrsWeasley · 18/01/2009 19:10

that hands one is just freaky imho. The stuff of nightmares!!

treedelivery · 18/01/2009 19:17

Oh that hands thing, dear dear me. That's some scary s**t.

ScottishMummy · 18/01/2009 19:31

aghhhhhhh those scary disconnected hands.macabre - so wrong

wotulookinat · 18/01/2009 19:41

Argh those hands! It would be like being cuddled by the hands of a stuffed Fraggle.
As for the thing hanging over the loo - how is it held up? Could the person in the loo next to you push it off?

cass66 · 18/01/2009 20:57

pmsl at that hands thing. fantastic.
