My ds of 9 months eats absolutly everything on his sunday dinner he ll eat carrots potatoes sprouts broccli swead etc mostly mashed up with a few bitties left but no matter what i do he wont eat his peas!! i didnt think there was a lot of flavour to them and my mum thinks its cos peas have a sort of shell on them. i was just wondering if anyone else had this prob with peas lol or is it that he just doesnt like them? im not too worried cos he eats everything else, but my DP wont eat anything other than potatoes, i dont want my ds when he s older saying "but daddy doesnt have it" . my dp has tried it all and will eat veg in home made soup as long as you blend it down YUCK its the texture of it in his mouth he doesnt like, not the flavour, so im trying to make sure ds eats all his veg! but dont understand why he wont eat peas they re really small not much flavour etc!! i cant even hide them in his food cos he stores them in his cheeks like a hampster them spits them out when he s finished his food!!!

any advice please???

DS loved peas at that age. I would give him a bowl of peas to snack on, and he would just sit there picking them up between finger and thumb.

Funnily enough we had this conversation at dinner time. DS1 (22yo) asked DS2 (10yo) why he hadn't eaten his sprouts and DS2 said he didn't like them. DS1 says 'how can you not like them' I said 'quite easily' 'shall I put green peppers and mushrooms on your plate tomorrow?' 'Errmmm, no thanks Mum, point taken'.
