dooley1 · 17/11/2007 15:36

lulumama · 17/11/2007 15:36

nd breathe

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 15:37

I would but my side really hurst when I do a deep breath.

OP posts:
lulumama · 17/11/2007 15:39

tell us what's up.... why does your side hurt?

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 15:42

No idea what I have done but it is like the pain I had when I fell and dropped the baby and cracked a rib.

The kids are arguing over grapes. she then hit him, he said it didn't hurt, bicker bicker. I know siblings fighting is normal but is it normal for it to be happening 90% of the time??

Hubby is ill so no lunch out. Great Nan isn't great atm so worry there. Exhausted.

lost it

dooley1 · 17/11/2007 15:43

you need to get them out the house, go pick up leaves, kick a ball in the park, anything but stay in and listen to them squabble

lulumama · 17/11/2007 15:47

yes, try to get out of the house

i remember always bickering with my twin and then my younger brother

my two have a big age gap so i have less of it, but they still fight...

it is waht children do !

just leave them to it, pick your battles, you do not need to referee every squabble

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 15:48

It is all the time. I am not refereeing all the time but sometimes I have to step in, they woke up their dad and brother too. DS1 in his room to calm down. DD now playing nicely with Ds2

OP posts:
NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 15:50

I am having chest pains now with it all.

Clearly I can't do this, have no idea about kids., so does anyone want them?

OP posts:
theslownorris · 17/11/2007 15:50

It must be something in the air . My twins seem to be constantly fighting at the moment. Their elder sister doesn't help by winding them up too.

lulumama · 17/11/2007 15:53

you are suffering from anxiety.

i thikn you really need to take a step back, let the meds kick in and give everything time, nothing is going to change overnight

you really think you are the only mother whose children bicker and squabble all the time?

you are depressed and it is stopping you from thinking clearly and seeing the situation for what it is.

this too will pass

your children will not be this age for ever and you will not feel like this for ever

bake a cake with them, or do soemthing nice, just try to take a moment

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 15:55

Meant to be taking them out for new slippers.

DD just got our music feet to play and he had to make a comment, she disagreed and then it is quiet. Mmm.

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 16:03

Going out with Ds1 and DD. Ds1 doesn't want DD to come...

OP posts:
lulumama · 17/11/2007 16:04

good luck !

seriously, you can do this..

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 17:35

All fine while out.

DS1 makes a toy for the hamster when home, DD breaks it, all kicks off. DD hits me and then startes trying to break her bed guard off, wets herself.

I bring her down and she says sorry to all. Fine now.

OP posts:
NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 17:35

The problem is me, not the kids.

OP posts:
lulumama · 17/11/2007 17:51

no, the problem is you are depressed and anxious , and those problems can be dealt with you

you are an amazing, strong , kind woman who is far too hard on herself

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 17:53

I am so not.

I just lost it with my daughter though I think it achieved something in that they have been lovely since. Maybe they are getting the message? DS1 is quite often scarily good when DD has been naughty and had a telling off.

Not helped by DH being in bed, ill, all day.

OP posts:
lulumama · 17/11/2007 17:55

well, he won;t be ill always, you are getting through the day as best you can...

i really beleive what i said there about you,an i don;t even know you! it comes across from your posts, also, you obviosly care about how you are bringing up your DCs

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 17:56

I am nothing like the mother I thought I would be. I was such a brill nanny and wonder if I have had enough of kids!

OP posts:
lulumama · 17/11/2007 18:04

this is the depression talking

and i have been there
it will get better

NAB3littlemonkeys · 17/11/2007 18:05

I can't be bothered. Is that really depression or me?

OP posts:
lulumama · 17/11/2007 18:06

from what i know of you, that is the depression,m you don;t strike me as the cannot be bothered sort

that malaise and apathy is depression, tiredness and just being unwell
