Allen keys, a peice of chain, keys on a key ring a pot scourer, arubber glove, a bath plug on a chain, curtain rings a castor, a piece of rope, a piece of that twisty tlephone cable, an old mobile phone, measuring cups, some remnants of fabric - velvet, mesh, silk. A potato masher, a nail brish, a sink plunger Anything really, so long as it's a real thing, not a toy. And, obviously so long as it's not a choking hazard or very dangerous. In my (very robust) opinion, it doesn't matter if some things can hurt a tiny bit - it's all part of the experience! It's not essential - not everyone subscribes to my "whatever does not kill you makes you strong" school of parenting!

lol @ tomboy stereotype at 18 months

give her a break

Beauregard · 07/07/2007 22:19

Laugh away then Enid
I was merely trying to describe her personality not critise her for it.

sorry

I have three girls

I promise you what she is like at 18 months is not what she is going to be like at 3, 4, 5 etc etc

EnidJane · 07/07/2007 22:27

doesnt she just run around? do you have to HAVE stuff for her?

my 14 month old just biffs around with the rest of them

Beauregard · 07/07/2007 22:30

She does do lots of running around and climbing ,lol.
I just wish she would 'biff' around a bit more safely.
