...full on tantrums where he stamps his feet, screams, throws himself on the floor and bangs his head? I wasn't expecting this for another few months or so.

agree with Trinityrhino. Intelligent child just frustrated otherwise he would just sit there happily being given whatever.
He is bright and when he can be understood they will stop.
There now, Feel better?

DD2 has done everything on the earlier side of things so far so I guess tantrums had to part of it. It just makes me laugh so much when this tiny little person hurls herself onto the floor and kicks her legs. It looks utterly ridiculous! DP and I can't help but laugh and she gets even crosser with us. DD1 who has Sn's has never had a tantrum in her life so it's all very new and amusng to me.

TR and GP feel very proud now. And love the idea of early start, early stop. I don't have your problem LL though - he will not let me do anything for him, including holding his cup, feeding him etc. He's even started trying to get himself dressed, although that has always been a battle ground. What a lovely bunch you all are.
