Four year old with blackhead!! Advice please!

My gorgeous little girl has what looks like the start of a blackhead smack bang on the end of her nose. Obviously, we wash her face a few times a day and she's clean so I'm not sure where it's come from but I was wondering if anybody could offer any advice as to how to clear it. All the usual methods I would assume are too abrasive and rough for such soft baby skin and I certainly don't want to risk scarring her by extracting it with my fingers. Any other ideas please, thanks x

I actually have a very fond memory of an hour spent in the toilet at work (I worked at the civil service so nothing else doing!) teasing out a particularly reluctant blackhead from the edge of my lip - When it popped out I was almost euphoric with pleasure!

Yes, I was thinking of giving steaming a go. Just because she's had it a while now and I don't think it's going to go of its own accord.

ds1 had one on the crease of his nose, I just had to squeeze it. He has no scare or anything remotely like it.

My dh had a fantastical one on his back and I felt fairly excited when he invited me to deal with it. Never smelt anything like the guff that came oozing on out though. He must have been quietly cultivating it for years!

LOL my nephew was born with a blackhead on his nose and it's still there now - he's 7!!

dd had huge one on her chin - it just went tho I was SO tempted to squeeze it!

You made me look and Oh. my. Gawd. That was truly repulsive! Worst still that apparently the whole family were gathered round to witness its liberation...now that is a weird blackhead fetish!
