Mine has two:

  • me no like it
  • me do it

He can pretty much get by on just those two statements.

'oh, I see' don't know where he got that from
'get my bob the builder bag, go Jonah's house my lunch' wants to leave home already!

RustyBear · 04/02/2007 19:14

DD's slogan at 2 was "In a minute"
DD's slogan at 17 is........"In a minute"
Some things don't change

Hillary · 04/02/2007 19:17

Weeee weeee cummin........

Whats your name?......

Oooops a Daisy

Oh mumma.

I love you

and when we're in public she now says Oh Bugger!
I stupidly shouted that the other day when I went the wrong way down a one way duel carrageway! - (must get an early night)

IntergalacticWalrus · 04/02/2007 19:19

DS1's is "naughty Eoin"

DS2 gets blamed for everything, even though he is only 5 months old and had only just mastered rolling over.

His other favourite is "Mine Thomas*" and "Daddy's remote control"

(*Delete and replace with any other Thomas the sodding Tank Engine trian where applicable. Current fave is Mavis)

hunkermunker · 04/02/2007 19:20

"I don't like it At All!"

"DS1 do it"

"Sainsbees, try something new today"

"Noooo, DS2, SHARE!"

"Huggle Mummy onna sofa"

"DS1 galloping!"

hunkermunker · 04/02/2007 19:21

Oh, and "Look, there's preschool/Granny's/a bridge round the corner, can you see it?"

BettySpaghetti · 04/02/2007 19:28

"I'm hungry"

(normally every 5 mins but hes been poorly so its been sadly missing today )

bakedpotato · 04/02/2007 19:31

'Not me' (when asked who is responsible for spilled juice/terrible stench etc)

'My luff you'

IntergalacticWalrus · 04/02/2007 19:34

DS1s other one is "Eoin's walking"

Again, impressive for a 5 month old baby.

"Where do you live? Swansea?"

liquidclocks · 04/02/2007 19:41

hewlettsdaughter · 04/02/2007 19:43

"why and coz?"

NotQuiteCockney · 04/02/2007 19:46

Oh, DS2 likes to point out "boobies" anywhere he can. "I see boobies down there" if he looks down my top. Any posters with women in bikinis on the tube are greeted with "boobies!". As is Olivia the Pig wearing a bikini.

his current faves are....

oh dear
dadeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (used for everyone, the dog, me, nanny etc)
jooooooce (even when asking for food)

he likes to stretch out his words at the moment!!!

saralou100 · 04/02/2007 19:47

oh yeah and no! is very popular too!

Aloha · 04/02/2007 19:48

She's two on Thursday and her motto is definitely 'let ME do it!'

Greensleeves · 04/02/2007 19:48

lol NQC, are all 2yo boys obsessed with boobies? when ds1 was about that age we were sitting on a crowded bus and he leaned over, pointed to my top and whispered conspiratorially to an old man "Mummy has got boobies in there!" Mortifying

gegs73 · 04/02/2007 19:50

Hot Wheels - beat that!! (In an American accent)

hunkermunker · 04/02/2007 19:51

LOL IW! DS1 is convinced that DS2 is 28 years old. DS1, however, is two three and quarters.

snowleopard · 04/02/2007 19:51

After watching the news with us the other day, DS (nearly 2) went around saying "impeach Bush!" for a while.
