I agree. The child of a friend of mine did not want to walk until he was 2. But he used to crawl around at such a pace and now is 3 and I have never seen a child run so fast. He seems to squat slightly lowing his centre of gravity and then off...! If other development milestones are fine and you are not worried about any muscle weakness, then no worries.

like oliveoil, mine is 15 months and doesn't cruise or crawl, but bottom shuffles at a rate of knots. have stopped worrying tho'. she is definitely getting more mobile in lots of other ways....but sasa15, she is a bit chunky too. i am almost a hunchback trying to lift her

He is FINE!!! DD1 only started walking at 20 months - I wouldn't start getting worried just yet - you'll soon be shouting "Come back here!" down the road - Enjoy the non-walking while it lasts - I wish that I had appreciated it more!!

Mine's 15 months and not walking - not talking yet either, maybe an odd Dad but not really in context to the situation. Something to worry about?
