ideas for polish girl names

We're trying to find a Polish girl's name that sounds good in both languages. Ania has already been used by my brother.

any ideas gratefully recieved!

I know a Polish Patricia, spelt Patrycja

I know it's terribly flippant but I so want to write "Glade"

Anouk is NOT a Polish name, skidoodly.

Neither are Dita and Katarina or Angela (it would be Angelika, but even that sounds horrible, see Nicola below).

Nicola/ Nikola is very chavvy (in Polish). Please don't.

Franciszka and Bronia (full name: Bronislawa) are very old-fashioned, but not in a good way iyswim

Lucyna, not Lucena. V.nice.

Wioleta (Vee-oh-letta). Lovely name.

Sosia is lovely. The pronounciation won't be obvious to English-speakers though.

Kasia (pronounced Kasha) - though think it may be chavvy in Polish too - but who cares? Its a lovely name

Maia is spelt Maja in Polich, its also Gaelic for Mary and Arabic for Warer apparently

Kasia's not chavvy lal123, it's an old name, short for Katarzyna.

MoneyNoPockets- aah, yes, Dyta- very rare...but definitely not Dita- sounds v.pretentious in Polish, although foreign spellings are used sometimes...but it's like with Nicola...sounds really horrible.

Zosia ie Zofia- it's very nice, I agree.

Ola is a diminiutive of Aleksandra, so another good choice, as easy to pronounce and a lovely name for a little girl.

My Aunt is Lucena, Kasia is my Dsis middle name, I also have a Renata, Krystyna, Lidia, Irena and Danute in my family.
